First time here it was pretty good. Seat yourself. The bar tender came over and gave us menus and took our drink order she was very friendly we liked her a lot. I think she usually works nights though from what she was saying. Our actual server though, i kinda got the vibe she didn't like us. We got the breakfast burger which was suppose to come with an over hard egg but it was definitely on the easy side. I got biscuit and heavy which comes with two eggs. Ordered them over medium and they were on the extra over easy side. I couldn't eat them there was too much uncooked white. Also got the fried pb and j and that was pretty good. Their mimosas are served in a pint and are very good. Just wish there was a larger breakfast menu. Next time we will sit up at the bar.
Sausage gravy was AMAZING. The service was HORRIBLE. Otherwise, what a great location for watching the Ducks play! We would have ordered so much more food if we could get any service. The Biscuts and Gravy was fantastic. Went out on the patio, and there were TWO servers. Plan better and staff up for game days. UPDATE: We visited again. The bar was quiet and welcoming. The service spectacular this time around (earned two extra stars this visit) The gravy? Not great, but we also arrived at the end of weekend breakfast service. However, the omelet was delicious, and the hash browns crispy without even ordering them that way. Great place. Please visit!
Update: went this week and they changed their country potatoes... and not for the better! Please go back to the older crisper recipe!! Have been here twice in the past week and have not been disappointed yet! Everyone enjoyed all the food. Decent amount of beers on tap. Frankie was our waitress both times and she's attentive, super friendly and very helpful with suggestions. We're excited to make this into one of our regular stops in town.
I joined our local Ladies Lunch and Learn group here Friday for our monthly meeting. Everyone's food looked amazing. I had a garden salad (picture taken after I started eating 😉) which was fresh and tasty. Friendly and prompt service, good parking, very nice location for an informal group get-together.
Good vibe, nice bartenders. They’ve got a fantastic drink selection too. Slightly pricey food - especially for what it is, but I get it.
My goto bar and grill for south Eugene. Food is very worthy and will often go eat if I am drinking or not. Can get pretty busy for Ducks games. Music in the backyard in the summer months.
I've not been in here for a couple of years, since well before they did the remodel, and it definitely won't be that long until I return. Atmosphere inside is great. Super clean and appealing, servers were awesome, and the food was absolutely killer. This isn't normal bar food, it's a proper restaurant with beer and tvs playing sports all day long. I had their beef stroganoff and was just taking my time savoring every bite when I heard they had house made Pecan Pie. Duuuude. It's legit. So many pecans, such great flavor, it was perfection. Outside they had a patio with something on fire. Pretty sure the fire was on purpose and next time I wanna check it out. Looks incredible for a summer evening. All told, this is a great spot and, though it's a little ways out of the way for me, it'll be an option from here on out when I need a spot to grab food and a drink.
