Visiting the bar was an enjoyable experience, featuring an incredible DJ who skillfully mixed captivating Hollywood tunes and even indulged our request for some Bollywood tracks. The cranberry vodka was a delightful choice. Although the dance floor was somewhat limited in size, the bar area and seating arrangements were satisfactory. Beyond the bar's confines, the exterior boasted a vibrant atmosphere, lined with various other bars and a bustling street that exuded liveliness and excitement.
usually love rec room but some skinny little bouncer just humiliated my friend telling her her ID was a fake because she had different hair in her ID than she does rn (kid doesn’t know what hair dye is????) and still refused to take it when she showed her ID on the My Colorado app ??? Weird behavior!
Do not go to this bar if you are a woman who wants to be treated with respect. This was our FIRST stop of the night as 30 year old women who are celebrating a bachelorette night out, in which we ordered a round of shots (our first drink of the night) and a few mixed drinks. After almost having to spit out the shots as they were made so poorly, my friend was asked to leave. You can think what you want about her being "drunk" already, even when she was not, but we were not there for 5 minutes before we had to leave by some arrogant jerk who practically shoved her out of the bar. I paid over $50 for the drinks, to literally leave the bar in under 5 minutes. The bars were very quiet last weekend - were you just scamming people for money? To get them to spend something and leave? Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, and also - not everyone is a drunk, alcohol obsessed college student who takes shots every night at your bar. It’s absurd to assume that because someone cannot handle a disgusting shot is already drunk, not because your plain well vodka is flat out disgusting. Not everyone drinks weekly, and it’s honestly ridiculous to stereotype and discriminate against every person walking into your bar. I will be sharing my experience with friends and family in the area and warning to avoid your bar. What a truly unfortunate experience by your staff. Hope you enjoy the $50!
I’m extremely frustrated with my recent visit to Rec Room and will not be returning. I ordered two blue Jell-O shots from a petite blonde waitress who clearly stated they were $4 for both. That should’ve been the end of it — but when I checked my card later, I found an unauthorized extra charge of $3. There was no explanation, no heads-up, and absolutely no permission given for this additional charge. That’s dishonest and completely unacceptable. It ruined what should have been a simple, fun night. If this is how they handle transactions, I’d advise others to double-check their receipts — or better yet, take your business elsewhere.
I used to go regularly (Fridays and Saturdays and sometimes Thursdays for Ramband lol) and never had an issue here. They play the best music imo, and all the bouncers and bartenders are pretty chill. Cant go much anymore due to my new job and weird schedule but I always have so much fun here 🙂
Riley is a great bouncer! I have had several negative encounters with gross men at rec room and Riley is quick to resolve the issue… he definitely makes my friends and I feel safer going there! Bathrooms are horrifying though
I wanted to use the restroom right after the place closed and I was told we’re not allowed to let anyone through and they said that their coworkers are in there. A whole drunk person came out the restroom after they said that so I tried to get into the restroom without shoving anyone and three people grabbed just because I wanted to use the restroom!! It felt racist and discriminated. I didn’t touch anyone but they said I harassed them?! It’s against my human rights to refuse me to use the retroom of
