I usually come by jcpenny for some of their good deals. I came across a shirt that I liked but didnt have a mark down price, although they were all over at the clearance side. I asked the cashier to check the price for me and it ring up to $29 still so I didn't want it. My cousin came up to pay with the same cashier and this cashier asked her if she can afford the piece of clothes since its $12, just because I didnt want that $29 shirt. Jcpenny need to retrain these employees from discrimination. I wish I got her name but I was too heated in the moment. All I could remember was that she is an older white lady with reddish Bob hair. Im disappointed that if i cant even shop here without feeling discriminated against, how many more people she has been rude to as well. Do better.

Bought a pair of pants here within the week lost the receipt. They wouldn’t even give me an exchange for the exact same pants without having a receipt. I’ll never shop at JCPenney‘s again. And this is why they’re gonna go out of business they’re unrealistic in their expectations.

The manger of the beauty department, Rae is long overdue for some customer service training. I went in to return a lip stick that I hadn’t used & upon walking up she asks me if i bought it yesterday, to which i say no, i bought it on the 31 or 30, should be on receipt. She asks if i’ve used it, i said no as i haven’t. After a bit of pretending to work, she tells me she’ll have to put it in as defective as it’s been used (after i just told you i haven’t used it so miss me with the micro aggression and false accusation of something i didn’t do) , she then proceeded to mention she is the manager & this is the only time she’ll be doing this as if im going to buy more things to return. I said ok thank you & at the end of the transaction couldn’t even cough up a goodbye or have a nice day. Learn to be a manager or go to the back.

Clerk on the phone was extremely helpful. This led to my going down to the store. She continued to be very helpful in the store. I am going to go back and shop there again in a few days. It is rare to actually get people to help you in stores these days so I was very appreciative

Other than crossing through JC Penneys to get to the other side of the mall, I had not been shopping there, until today. Went upstairs to look for a pair of overalls for my son. Walked around and decided to ask a woman named "Junior" for help... despite asking for mens overalls, she seem more interested in helping a man find pants so she just told me to go downstairs. I told her I needed men's overalls. First she said she didn't think they had any and then she said I should look online to see if they had any in the store. Quick way to get rid of me. Not going back.

Alot of amazing things to buy like boots , shoes , pants, and jackets the jackets keep you very warm on cold nights .
