Great atmosphere for a date night or just a low key hang with friends. Dark and moody. Great service. Food was great as the share a kitchen with the Italian restaurant adjacent and serve the same menu. Flat breads, pizza, salads and Italian specialties. Loved this place. Decor was on point. The main entrance is on the back of the building.

A hidden gem, literally! The door to the bar is at the back and looks ext like a speakeasy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of seating and the vibes inside are dark and fun. There are herons everywhere you look. Bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. The drinks were amazing and I recommend ordering one of those cocktails. I would highly recommend this bar especially if you’re looking for something close by without compromising quality.

My husband and I such a great time at the Blue Heron Bar! The vibe was awesome, but the service really made the night. Santino was incredibly friendly and welcoming and honestly made our visit even better. It was my husbands birthday and Santino went above and beyond to make him feel special. You really don’t find service like that much anymore. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a cool speak easy in Gilbert. Super cool vibe, amazing drinks and good food. If youre not driven from something on their food menu, you can ask for a Crust menu and get whatever you want there. I will be back.

Cute spot, loved their lemon drop martini! We also got the garlic knots and ceaser salad with meatballs. We went on a Thursday night and enjoyed ourselves. This place is located inside Crust pizza. I see comments about the music, we sat close to the entrance and the volume was perfect there. I was bummed they didn’t have a happy hour, but loved the drinks we got. Our waiter and bartender were amazing, very attentive and friendly. We will be back!!

Purely exceptional! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, each minute was wonderful. My husband and I never get a date night and when we do, the food usually is a let down. But finally, we found the perfect place for a perfect date night. We walked in thru the inconspicuous door in the back into a cozy long deep blue restaurant with great conversation music. Our server (who I feel terrible for not remembering her name) she had a beautiful smile, dark hair and super cool tattoos. She was on point and super helpful throughout our meal. We started with the "Lips don't Lie" and "Ostrich Pornstar" drinks..we both enjoyed immensely. We then had the Meat & Cheese board, Brushetta, Whipped Ricotta and the Warm Butter Cake. Nothing short of amazing. I would recommend all of it and the cake was out of this world!! Thank you for an incredible, much needed, experience in which we can't wait to go back and delve into more!

Painkillers in Gilbert? Yesssss! Just enjoyed an early evening out in which we spontaneously gave this place a try. The dark, decor was a nice contrast to the 106 blazing sun outside. We had excellent Painkillers as well as friendly conversation from Kris behind the bar. We weren't that hungry so splitting the Chicken Alla Vodka was perfect. We very much liked it. Love the hidden concept (enter the place from either the back part of Crust or from the door in the back of the building). I'm sure when the weather permits, the patio will be a nice relaxing setting. Very nice experience.
