Last Chance Tavern & Grill

"The Chance" has a great atmosphere with Thursday night trivia, Friday night live music and karaoke on Saturdays. The food is solid with Taco Tuesdays and the Garbage Burger is a must sample. The burrito ain't half bad either. In general, the food is dive bar deluxe. The staff are fantastic and friendly. Highly recommend this Burton Street SE dive as your Last Chance before heading home.

Service was amazin - bartender was attentive but not a pest. Nice sized space - seats at the bar, tables and a nice sized patio. Large parking lot. 20 beers on tap plus full bar. Kitchen makes a variety of items all at a good price. The hard shells for tacos have great flavor and aren't too thick. Choice of chicken or beef - i liked the beef better.

. Once it get crowded like his ears it's hard to really sit here and wait on something, that you've been waiting on if we have to sit there longer than 22 minutes........ I think we should be compensated 5 or 10 off on the food because the tip is what really I would like to do a lot the food is great but the food need to be coming at a reasonable time and it's not slow food is fast food and it's really great but waiting but as I'm sitting here waiting getting. Liberated or drunk or a little bit high advertiser out there right away the tip is what I like giving away to help somebody else other than I... I'm right now I'm rattling on a little bit too much but the place is great and I will return day after other day I like to return every 3 days I don't mind cooking for myself but the food is great the nostalgic atmosphere is somewhat calming ..

Absolutely love coming here and my daughter adores the food. Unfortunately during a recent visit getting lunch with my daughter-the bartender working there (kristy/christy?) Argued with my teenage daughter because she wanted a regular burger, not a kids burger. Kept telling her she wouldn't be able to finish it. Poured us flat soda out of a 2 liter sitting on the bar and ignored us most of our lunch. My daughter finished her entire burger reluctantly because there was absolutely no seasoning on it. Super disappointing. We try not to go when she's working...

My husband and I have come here nearly every weekend for the past year. We love the food and MOST of the staff . Although when we see Kristy we usually have to debate on if staying is worth it. Kristy often talks down to customers and it's nearly impossible to get a refill on a drink from her. The last couple of times we've been there she's even commented on my husband and I eating like "oh that must've been good" implying we ate too fast ?? I brought a group to the chance recently excited to show them my favorite spot and Kristy served us. None of the drinks came at the same time I and I even ended up grabbing my bud light from the bar bc she uncapped them and left them. Tldr; love the bar, except 1 bartender.

we love the chance. have been going for years regularly. however, the last several times we've been there kristina or kristy? has been our bartender and each time we've had her there, there's been an issue. one time with our bill, another time not getting to us for 10 min even though there were maybe 4 people in the building and just little things here and there. i've worked in the industry so i get how it can be but she is extremely crude to customers and it's very uncomfortable to witness and be on the receiving end of as well, she yells across the bar instead of walking to a table, she yells at her coworkers, she ignores customers and honestly, she's just not pleasant to have as a server. she's actually the reason we stopped going so frequently and don't go unless someone else is working! you can tell customers don't like her either bc as soon as she shows up , the entire bar will clear out. love the food, love the other bartenders and it's a great time but she is bringing this place down.

While the food and service is generally pretty good, just be careful. Several people including myself have noticed our tabs being ran for extra money. You might have a $50 tab after the tip is added and it will show up on your bank statement 2 days later for $60. It’s because the bartender added another $10 to your tip. I did get my $10 back but it killed any confidence I had in the establishment. Cant go back. Id be fixated on the idea they would do it again. The excuse I was given for the mixup was "they couldn’t read the ticket". Im sorry but no one accidentally doubles or triples the tip when they cant read it. If the food and drinks add up to $50 and the total at the bottom says $60, they probably didnt leave a $20 tip and no way a 1 and a 2 could be confused. Take pictures of your tabs and check your bank statement or better yet just pay cash if you go here.
