The Box

This place sucks. Don't waste your time, you will probably get your real ID taken from the bouncer like many people have. I could throw a better party in my garage than this place. Paid $15 to get in this bummy place. I'd rather drink on my couch than ever go again.

I must say it's a pretty odd place. I drifted in there on a very slow night, the drinks were cheap, the karaoke was very accessible and the DJ will look up a ton of different songs. Plus, free shot for singing! The bartenders were pretty friendly and had a good sense of humor. Probably more suited for the college crowd.

I'm from Texas and last Friday I was in Greeley, I tried to go into that bar to have some fun and have a drink and when I entered the bar people told me that people with tattoos weren't allowed to enter and I saw some white people with tattoos coming out. So that was racism. They should be more careful when having people like that at the entrance. Racist people like that aren't worth it. So I recorded that and I will soon file a lawsuit for racism.

Better not have a personality when trying to get in. White shirts is a no go. No tattoos. You have to pretty much have to show up naked to get in. Security should be doing a better job. Their sign says no color like it’s the 50’s. Good luck getting in

My sister and her friend were assaulted here both inside and outside the bar while the staff (including owner) did nothing to intervene or help. My family is handling this incident with a couple levels of law enforcement and regulatory agencies so we will see the bars level of cooperation in that. In the meantime wanted to warn young women against this bar. The environment isn’t safe, overserved people and non-attentive staff. I am thankful my sister and friends made it out of the situation alive.

You can have a good time here and the staff members are pretty cool. Only thing I caution is that for young women keep your wits about you as always. There are a ton of foreign dudes there that don’t necessarily follow typical customs in the US and can be sortve aggressive toward bar tenders and patrons alike. Trevor the owner is a cool guy though, seemed a little stressed out to be honest. Best night to go is Saturday for sure. Don’t come here if you look gang affiliated in any way, even if you’re not actually. You won’t be let in.

Devin the bartender is the absolute best! He’s the elite employee! Absolutely knew how to make drinks and take care of me and my friends (5 of us). He has the best personality and attitude! The DJ, despite it being day two at this place is amazing and knew how to make a vibe! I bought him a shot and he’s the coolest! The bouncer offered us a ride home when my friends and I struggled to find a ride via uber due to time and snow so he’s the absolute homie! First time going to a bar and had an absolute blast! Thank you once again and will be back again! Everyone is absolutely amazing!!!
