Party Line Tavern

Myself and three friends went here for Halloween because we wanted to sing karaoke. We got settled in, went up to the bar where we were told that we needed to be 21 to be in the bar. This was not a problem because we are all 24, have been going to bars and getting into bars since we were 21, and never had a problem. The bartender demanded to see our IDs and once again, after looking at them said we needed to be 21 to be in here. We exclaimed that we were, and were very confused as to why this was an issue. Moral of the story, she refused to serve us so we just left. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m not sure if the bartender is just that stupid/illiterate, or if she was having a bad night. Either way, this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in Green Bay. Do not recommend if you’re young and are looking for a fun time.

Went there on Halloween with friends to do karaoke. The bar was not very busy and the bathroom was clean so we were looking forward to singing a song. My husband went to hand the older female bartender his ID and she was unable to preform simple math, or maybe it was that she forget her bifocals that day, but she proceeded to tell us we were not of age. To our shock, my husband responded, we were (we are all 24), she continued to say we were not of age while holding our IDs in her hand. My husband eventually just snatched them from her and we left. It felt as though she just did not want us there even though we had just walked in and were having a friendly conversation with some patrons at the bar. It’s very concerning you have a bartender who can’t read or do math, making drinks and taking peoples money. But I guess we are giving jobs to anyone these days. Do not recommend to anyone under the age of 30. Worst service I’ve ever had in Green Bay.

Went there for Halloween and the bartender got scared because my ID was vertical and decided she couldn’t do math and didn’t serve us. Told us we have to be 21 to be there when we were all 24. Should’ve known a bar with a Gus’s Guns sign was going to be full of window lickers.

This place has changed ownership so many times. The bartender was very good and friendly. However at the end of the night when I needed to cash in a ticket for some winning I was shoot out the door until I finally caught her attention she had me wait outside while she collected my money. I thought that was pretty rude however it's not always pleasant when you're dealing with a bunch of drunks and you have a bar full of people that won't leave.

The people that run it do a great job.

Nice atmosphere. Lots of different ages. Loud music. My only set back is bartender did not know how to make old fashioned she did find the recipe 3 drinks later which I paid for. She was nice and I believe her heart was is the right place
