Arch Street Tavern

Have been here 3-4x for shows and lunch. With friends, and my wife. Have enjoyed every visit. The food is very good bar / tavern food. The concerts have been great. Good sound, mingling with the band members, close proximity to the show, great lighting and sound. Highly recommend for either food or shows or both.

I stopped in here for happy hour after work and was glad I checked their parking situation. They validate parking for the garage right across the street so that saved time and money! Overall their happy hour is great. Very inexpensive drinks ($3 beers, $5 cocktails) and the food was inexpensive as well. I didn't order any food while I was there so can't comment on it, but the beverages were good and they had a decent beer list. Our server was friendly as well and checked in a decent amount. Recommend for a good happy hour!

Frequently come here for trivia nights on Thursdays. Good beer selections and the bar is pretty spacious. Just wish the food selections got an upgrade. It’s not bad, just could use some new items. Super fan of the corned beef, best item on the menu.

Lovely atmosphere, caught their trivia night so the place was packed to the brim so service was excruciatingly slow. But, our waitress was pleasant. The drinks were good, I had the pistachio cocktail which I really loved. The food wasn't so good, the fries were very bland and cardboard-like and my friend said her salad was half dressing. I would say, go for the drinks and ambience but not the food.

Realized I never posted a review warning people about this but I just got the hospital bill from the ER. Got the worst food poisoning of my life on my birthday a year ago here and just wanted everyone to know not to get the chicken tenders

Great sandwiches, burgers, and beer selections. Hartford has plenty of places that are awesome to get a bite to eat at and Arch Street Tavern is no exception. They have some very cool decor going for them and an interesting ambience that makes for an enjoyable lunch or evening experience. Wait times have never been too bad and whether coming here solo or with a guest, it’s consistently been one of my favorite stops in Hartford.
