AMC Independence Commons 20

They do a great job of keeping out the wrong crowd, and any issues are handled quickly. The theater is generally clean and well maintained. Concession lines can get pretty long on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. My only complaint is the lack of arcade games or seating in the hallway while waiting for theaters to be cleaned sometimes cleaning isn’t finished until just a few minutes before previews start.

I frequent AMC and tonight our theater was absolutely disgustingly fifty. It looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. The lady and her daughter sitting next to us had to get something to clean her own seat. Everything was sticky, food everywhere. Movies cost too much money to get this level of filth.

Came to see a Lego movie. On arrival the machine out front would scan our QR code that was provided. I entered the theater and found the ticket taker. After trying to explain my issue and them not hearing anything I said I realized the headphones in their ears. Went to find the theater and they don't have signs up anymore showing what's playing where. Once we got to our seats, 2 out of 3 chairs had issues with the screens and were rather difficult to get the chairs to recline. Movie was good but everything else sucked.

Absolutely trash. Movie supposed to start at 6:25 and it’s 6:45 right now and there’s non stop commercials that I don’t care about and for every company I see an ad for I will now make a point to not buy their products. Not going to AMC anymore. Edit: start time was listed as 6:25 and the movie didn’t start until 7:00. 35 minutes of my time stolen against my consent. The people up front said corporate controls this and that they can reduce the time of this.

All trash cans overflowing, popcorn all over the lobby floors, soda machines half empty and dirty, 90% of candy gone, slightly burnt popcorn. Theater room itself was relatively clean, but I have to say the reclining chairs are not great compared to others (I.e. B&B). Two stars because we did not have any movie issues, although AMC loves to show way too many commercials the start.

I got tickets for row c, which had a carpeted wall directly infront of us, which the wall wasnt the problem, it was the carpet. Before the movie even started I noticed two bugs crawling on me. Couldn't tell if they were fleas or what. Of course I wore shorts that day too🙃 but needless to say during the whole movie I was paranoid as hell! And since it was in my mind I just kept itching and thinkin there was another one on me. Besides that, food was great, concessions were busy but fast. The movie itself was AWESOME!

No one at the concession stand actually applies your rewards.even if you tell them you have rewards. Bought tickets for an early day show, ordered food, was told "our system is down, I didn’t get your order". Which is maybe fine, but also didn’t help that your cook was swinging her hair in the popcorn and kitchen and so I wouldn’t have eaten any food I bought in the first place.
