I called to see if it’d be okay to have someone purchasing a wedding dress from me try it on in the Marshall’s dressing room as I wasn’t sure if that would be allowed on Saturday, spoke to an employee who said that would be alright and to just let them know when we came in that she had said so. Well, I called back today (two days later) to give them a heads up and confirm this- the manager told me no and that it is against corporate policy for us to do so. This complaint is for the inconsistency and inconvenience of the information being relayed to me. Thank goodness I had called as opposed to just going in as this would have been a giant waste of my time. I think they’re the same chain, but I’ll still be giving my business to tj maxx in lees summit from here on because of the misinformation and annoyance with this experience.

Great store to grab things for your home, clothes, shoes, gifts, you name it.

This may be my favorite Marshalls in the area. Always stocked with good treasures. Wonderful KC gear and the staff is always helpful

It used to be less of a mess than these days. I was disappointed in my last 2 visits there. It is a discount store, but many discount stores are kept up better. Although, one real factor that probably isn't helping is that no matter where you are shopping or working, for the most part, nobody wants to work now and so there are too many slackers nowadays. I am not the only person to have this kind of complaint. Seems like since the Covid pandemic its become a real problem and sadly even in job markets that you'd think wouldn't tolerate it. What is with this, America? Sorry, I didn't mean to turn this review into a rant!!

Be ware of this store they got the exact same items at different prices I ask one of the tallers why she said when you go to pay we will bring it down to the same low price when I went to pay the manager refused to do so Infact she give attitude and you don't have to buy anything even though I had hundreds of dollars worth of stuff I ended up buying the item but specifically told her in her face that I was going to do a review on Google a bout my experience she said I don't care if I could do Zero ⭐ I would

This location is not good. Not worth stopping by. Often they have empty racks, small selection, messy clearance section with dirty and broken makeup.

Marshalls independence has really gone down hill!! Thought maybe they were closing since they are not restocking racks with any clothing. Very picked over clearance items, lot's of bare space on their racks, clearance and regular items. Needless to say they have plenty of room to do some extensive stocking in this store. Hopefully management will get things improved at this location!
