I got the burnt end sandwhich and sweet potato fries. They were absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection. The hospitality and atmosphere made it a wonderful date lunch for the hubs and I. The homemade cookies looked delicious but we ate too much to indulge this time. I can’t wait to save room next time! Thank you for a great experience!
The people here are so helpful. Plus there is something here for everyone in the family! They even have their own BBQ Restaurant right on site! I recommend this place for everyone who likes nostalgia or just browsing things they might want. Get some food here too! Senior day is every Tuesday for 55+. Come hang out and see the stuff!
Merchant Square in Independence is a gem that stands apart from Brass Armadillo. While it has a similar vendor-style setup, the space feels brighter, more inviting, and carries an eclectic mix of treasures. You’ll find everything from vintage clothing and knick-knacks to custom-made pieces, home décor, plants, personal items like bags and cologne, and even snacks. One of the best surprises is the adjoining BBQ restaurant, which makes it more of a destination than a simple shopping trip. With such a wide variety, there’s always something new to discover here.
Everything in this place is stupidly overpriced. Especially all of the clothing booths. $24.99 for used faded thrift store chiefs shirts (not even vintage).. $15 for a raggedy pair of gym shorts, $19 for a faded elf Christmas shirt when you can get a brand new one at Walmart for $8, no thanks! Also saw tons of booths selling cheap TEMU/SHEIN/AMAZON items for $10-$20 when the price online is $5 or less. Abesolutely ridiculous..
Ok, I won't call this an Antique Mall. It has antiques, boutiques, and unique treasures. I would say half of it is new or crafty items and the rest is antiques. We found a few fabulous treasures, so don't get me wrong the antiques are fantastic. The girl helping us was so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend this if you're visiting or living in town. I hope they switch their inventory out each month or so, we'll see. You're in for some walking that much I can tell you, so be prepared to walk for a while. Support your locally-owned business and ensure you keep them in your community.
Found so many treasures to wonder through, I couldn't get to every section in one day. Took BBQ ribs and fix'ns home for lunch. Good price, average flavor, great pickles.
Great flea market with many vendors. Lots to choose from and to look at. Some very unique items. Check out the Booth on California Way! You'll never find another like it!
