Came out of my way to use this particular location for a pretty large order of various food...there were no baskets....I'm disabled and didn't want to walk your lot looking for a basket....I ended up walking your lot anyway for a basket opposed to waisting more of time waiting for staff to respond to a call to get baskets....of course I end up with my foot in a pile of snow...now it's wet and im pissed off and have no desire at all to spend upwards of 2500 with your store today or ever again. Why would you NOT have baskets available at store where most purchases are over 50lbs??? I guess I'll be driving even further out of my way to a real feed store that takes better care of their customers. I bet if I had looked just a little more WHITE there would have been a more prompt response.

On Saturday 3/7/2026 I went in to get some dog food. I happened to look at the little chicks and one was just eating the other one & I told the worker and he was not moving quickly to stop the action! I am very disappointed. And on top of that in another bucket that they 25 chicks in one was dead! These works don't care about their chicks! How upsetting.

Incredible customer service! Brandon and the staff were will to stop everything they were doing, even though they were short staffed. Independence store is a little bit out of the way compared to the lee's summit store but it's worth it for me after this visit!

With customer service being poor, representatives don't know their products, check dates, acknowledge the customers in the store. But Tractor Supply, they greet you all through the store. I buy my pine litter for my cats there and other stuff. Keep up the great environment

This store doesn't care about the truck drivers delivering their products! My husband sat for 24 hours waiting to be unloaded while 5 employees sat outside smoking. It cost our family almost two thousand dollars in lost drive time. They LIED and said his dispatch called and said he wouldn't arrive until the next day! He's an owner op.so....EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, LAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL They want their product but couldn't care less about the truck driver who hauled the product. We WONT be delivering to that clown show of a store again! Thanks tractor supply store #420 for taking food off of our families plate.

I had 3 free pet wash coupons at the beginning of December and never got to use them. The pet wash has been "out of service" the entire month.

This location is a joke. I carry a small tactical bag for obvious reasons and I was escorted out 2 minutes after walking in the door because I refused to leave my bag at the counter. I'll go other places where I am not treated like a criminal.
