Surprisingly for a Sunday the store wasn't crowded making it very easy to enjoy my shopping experience. Lord knows I'm not one for trying on clothes, but I absolutely fell in love 💕 with this dress. Say hello to my new travel dress! My son also wanted to try the viral Dubai chocolate and found some here along with a few other items.
Love how neat everything is, but whoever thought of the layout for the check out register needs to be fired fr. With how big each department is they need their separate checkouts. The checkout is located by the entrance of homegoods and the line will stretch to the entrance of tjmaxx. Some days it’s not even worth to wait in line & I’ll put my items back.
Good selection of items but service is a joke. Be prepared to stand in line for at least 45 minutes. This is my 4th time to this store and the line has been like this EVERY TIME! 4 registers open with an hour line. My partner literally had time to go to bath and body works next door to shop and by the time they made it back, I was only half way through the line. To the management, your cashiers need help and you lose customers who aren't willing to wait.
The store is huge, variety of home goods is impressive. Mind bogging in fact. You'll find items you never thought you needed --until now. Value of items is good as far as we can tell, and the lines are quite long but move fast.
this store is so incredibly organized it could be 5 stars if instead of sending employees out on the floor to harass people to get in line, they had the same team jump on register instead to get through the line of 50+ people waiting to check out OR idk crazy idea… open the jewelry counter register to get people out of the store instead of having them organize the jewelry end caps. bsfr. common sense is not common at TJX.
The longest lines I’ve ever encountered, regardless of the time of day or day of the week! I visited on a Tuesday midday and stood in line for 15 minutes before having to abandon my belongings to rush back to the office and avoid missing a meeting. Later that night, just before closing at 9 p.m., I returned and was still stuck in a lengthy queue. While I must admit that they do have a great selection of items, the wait is never-ending. If you’re prepared to endure a 20-minute wait, then don’t let this deter you!
Horrible experience in the HomeGoods/TJ Maxx location on MacArthur. Today I tried to return two items I purchased because they had a chemical smell to them. I lost the receipt but provided my government ID but two of the women there were extremely rude. They lack class and education. They started saying that they could not do a return without a receipt because they couldn’t prove it wasn’t just "stolen" or "taken from the shelf." I pulled up the store policy on my phone about in store return without receipt and it said it was allowed as long as a government ID is provided. The women who did this was an extremely short, old white lady with red named Clara. She was supposedly the manager. The other one was also an old, black woman as shown in my photos. Her name was Bridget. This situation was so low and vulgar. There was no need for them to be acting like racist and low. They completely ignored the store policy and suggested that I had stolen. I was very cooperative and showed my ID. A person who steals would not just offer their ID. This was prejudice and low just because I was Hispanic. I have been a customer to HomeGoods, Marshalls, and all the other stores for over 10 years and NEVER had I felt or had this happen to me before. I hope whoever is incharge does something and checks because these women have no professionalism or customer service. I want an apology from these women. I was ridiculed in front of the other customers. They truly do not belong here for they have no respect for the customers. Be careful with these women. They will try to belittle you and do whatever they want. We all have rights and these women clearly are used to being able to control situations to whatever they want.
