Six26 - Lounge and Rooftop

My friend and I Google searched bars at 10pm in the area and this came up as first suggestion. I loved how cozy and underground it felt. The drinks were great, the service was nice and the people were sweet. The DJ was playing Latin music so bad bunny up in thereee. lol. But overall a chill place on a weekday night☺️

Had an amazing time. Matt and Diana were so hospitable. I took my friend here for his birthday and they were super accommodating and made sure we felt special by calling out the birthday. Drinks are good and fast service. Couldn’t ask for more.

Nice chill spot for our people love taco Tuesday tacos be so good and if you come late it's be nice and empty just vibing other than that love the weekends here with friends or solo

I’ve come to six26 about 6 times since first checking the place out this summer. I love the queer-friendly crowd and having such a welcoming space to just have fun for a night out. The drinks are absolutely overpriced, making the space less accessible for queer folk that desire to experience a night out in a safe space. The music is mid at best, but I absolutely keep coming back, because I have yet to find another gay bar with a decent turn out that isn’t in nyc. I noticed that the mixed drinks specifically at six26 would make me ill. The first time it happened, I assumed I probably just drank too much, even tho I wasn’t rly that drunk. The second and third times it happened, I assumed I had some type of allergy to the drinks I ordered. It wasn’t until I’d been to other bars and drank the same drinks and got absolutely hammered without the food-poisoning like reaction, and asked my doctor about it, that I determined that there’s likely some type of mold in six26’s ice or soda guns. I tested this theory by only getting canned drinks the last few times I’ve been to six26, and have been a-okay. Please be weary, especially if you might have mold sensitivities or don’t want your night ruined with your body being poisoned.

Wow! This gay bar was amazing! I have to say firstly that I got the lamb with mashed potatoes and vegetables and it was AMAZING - for only $20?! Insanely affordable for how tasty the food was. The staff was very kind and very funny. We talked about their recommendations for drag shows in the city, what their favorite menu items were, and just vibed! Cute basement interior. The rooftop was closed when we went (too cold?). Security at the door patted us down and they had a metal detector. That was nice to make us feel safe going into the building. Definitely one our favorite spots on the trip and will be returning in the future! Felt very welcomed!

Great roof top bar and lounge. We enjoyed drinks at sunset on the roof top and also the Saturday drag brunch, the show was fun. There was only one queen able to perform but she did a great job engaging with the whole lounge. The food was delicious and the service was great. We loved the drink specials and brunch menu. We really enjoyed both visits and can’t wait to return again soon.

I had a really disappointing experience at this club, and I feel it’s important for others to know before planning a night out here. My group and I came with a larger group of friends (8 people total), excited for a fun night, but the security at the entrance completely ruined the mood before we even got inside. One of the security staff members treated us very poorly. He questioned whether we had been there before and made the entry process unnecessarily difficult, even though we have visited this place previously. His attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and made us feel unwelcome for no reason. It was especially frustrating because the rest of our group was supposed to join us, and this interaction affected the entire plan for the night.
