Would definitely come here for the bar vibes and bar snack food, but probably not again for the actual meals they have. They weren't bad, but there are better restaurants that get the job done in downtown. The fish and chips I ordered were pretty thin and therefore really crispy due to the lack of fish actually in the breading. The fries were great though, as I love shoestring fries. The sliders were also really good, because again, a bar is probably better at bar food like sliders than anything else. Their drinks here are also going to pack a kick, so I loved that. I also love their events that they have here, especially karaoke night. They have a pool table but it's pretty popular, and the outdoor terrace is a nice place to relax at. Warning: It does get crowded here!
Typical bar food. Staff was good. Atmosphere is great! Live rock band downstairs and hip hop DJ upstairs. Perfect setting...
Me and my bf will never be eating here again. While the food was flavorful and actually we really enjoyed it, something was in the food that caused reactions in both of us that concerned us deeply. This never happens for us. This meal was the only different and new thing we had done that day. We had it for dinner and suddenly we were both having chest pains from our meal. My bf was in pain for hours and I had chest pains so bad I couldn’t make full breathes & had sharp pains. Food we ordered: - Brick Sliders - Seasoned Fries - Ranch - Water We don’t understand why this food had this affect on us. But we caution others to be careful. Again, this is not a common experience for us & it happened directly after our meal and to both of us. (We shared the meal).
Good restaurant and bar in downtown Jonesboro. They serve New Orleans or Louisiana style foods. The gumbo is really good and my favorite dish is the alligator bites. There are multiple levels so you have plenty of options as far as seating goes. It turns into a bar/dance/music club later at night and it seems to be very popular for that. I've been many times since it opened and will be back again as well.
The aesthetic was intriguing and our server, Mariah, was great! She recommended the Bob Marley as a fruity cocktail to try and she scaled the 3 flights of stairs to the top patio like a champ. It was nice to have the top patio to ourselves for outdoor eating but we also felt bad for her having to go up all those stairs. With that said, the food was mediocre and not very flavorful but also not terrible (3/5 stars). We were also disappointed to see that very few patrons or staff were wearing face covering or observing any sort of 6 ft social distancing. - Social atmosphere for live music, playing pool, drinking at a bar and hanging out with friends is what you would expect - Not recommended for those concerned with the ongoing COVID19 safety protocols (unless you choose to dine outside and have the area to yourself like we did)
Good stuff. Food good. Service good, quick, and polite. Very old bar. Okra was great. Seats are TERRIBLY uncomfortable.
Food is delicious. Atmosphere is fun. Bartenders are fabulous. Building is historic and beautiful. Lance & Wilcox are the best of the best. In this visit, I also tried their brunch and it was great as well! Highly recommend.
