Third Place Lounge

This place is a gem! We hosted a birthday party here & Amanda (owner) made sure everything went smoothly. She made it so easy for us to just pop in, set up some decorations & get cozy. The bar staff were all helpful and kind. The cocktails (with & w/o alcohol) are fantastic. I highly recommend Third Place Lounge for a casual evening, a drink before an event in the crossroads/downtown, and certainly for parties & reunions!

Cocktail bar that feels like you are in your friend’s parent’s throwback basement. Cocktails were tasty - $12 each. Banging nostalgic playlist. And only a few blocks walk from the Kauffman Performing Arts Center! We grabbed a drink here before a show and it was perfect.

Some friends and I went to hang out and it was so nice. The owners were very personable, which was refreshing. The lady helping us was determined to make a drink that I would like since I'm a little pickier, and I appreciated it so much even though she absolutely did not need to put in that much effort. I'm definitely coming back! Definitely try the Southwest Honey!

I had my engagement party here & I loved every second of it. The owner Amanda is the sweetest ever. Her staff was so friendly and very personable. I picked this place because of how cute it is! It is already decorated very nicely. The drinks are phenomenal. I really recommend trying to espresso martini. Me & my fiancé will be back to grab a drink some time!

No food is served here. Amanda is amazing. She's kind friendly and available to her customers. The drinks are phenomenal. I would recommend this place to anybody visiting to the Kansas City area or anyone wanting fun night out for cocktails only. We were searching for an affordable event space for a surprise cocktail birthday party. It took a minute to find the right contact information. But once we did, smooth sailing! The space is cozy, intimate, and the bar staff was amazing! Great ambiance, and we'll definitely keep this place in mind future events.

This place is amazing and so is the owner Amanda!!! Literally the best espresso martini in Kansas City hands down! The vibes are cottage core/cozy/inviting, basically like having a cocktail at your grandmas house! You can really tell a woman put her heart into this space. Such a relaxing vibe for people who don’t want to feel overwhelmed when going to a bar. Great NA options as well!! P.S. the swings she has installed are so fun!
