Fat Tuesday Knoxville

I had been to New Orleans and Phoenix locations, but first time here! I talked with the owner a bit. Super nice guy, legendary drinks and a fun time! It was quiet when I went as school had just let out for summer.

I’ve been to a few Fat Tuesday’s in a couple of states and have never been treated the way I was at this location. I arrived to see family for the 4th of July and was able to get a Tumbler refill with my Fat Tuesday cup on the 2nd with no problem. When arriving the next day with different staff they proceeded to fill my cup and then charge me the full price " stating that due to them not having this particular cup they have to charge me full price" . This was after they filled my cup and didn’t even proceed to offer an explanation or give me a new cup given I would be charged full price for a cup I was supplying. Very poor customer service and communication skills.

Simple frozen drinks. Good flavor, but they are expensive for what you get. You can take them to go which is nice as they inside does not have much going on. They offer free samples of the flavors before you decide which you want to order.

Food was okay. Staff was inattentive after I said I wasn’t interested in buying drinks. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. Would not go back as a local.

I got the octane green apple, eye candy, and margarita. It was pretty good. I can't wait to go back when it's hotter outside and have one.

I tried to find positives to highlight, but there aren't really any. The drinks were not great- too artificially flavored, minimal (questionably zero) alcohol in them even with the recommended "highest alcohol" drinks. The store smelled musty/moldy. Weird vibes- is it 70's style, artsy? Can't tell the theme. 18$ for something not great- won't stand a chance being walking distance from high-quality cocktail bars. Gave it a good try but most likely will not be back.

Fast friendly service. Reminded is of New Orleans. Daquiris were strong and good. Highly recommend.
