Dave helped with the installation of an airbag suspension on my 1972 Mercedes 280SEL. He provided a great recommendation for the product and when it showed up and modifications needed to be made they were all over it. This is my first long-term project car. Dave not only gave me ideas I hadn't thought of but also walked me through what would give me the best bang for the buck on a limited budget. I still have some fine tuning to do on the suspension settings and he kindly offered to go through it together when I have time to stop by. In my business following through after the sale and continuing to serve the customer is paramount, and the team at DSD does exactly that.

Had my car in for some preventative maintenance, they did address additional concerns, however, when car picked up, the hood insulation that was replaced was falling down and also noted the A/C was not working, it worked prior to visit. I returned to correct insulation issue issue, which they did, forgot to mention A/C, I get home and noticed mounting bolts missing from A/C bracket pictured below, when questioned as to getting it repaired at their expense, I was told there were missing/incorrect bolts before bringing car in for work & no bolts were found "leftover" from job. So, If you want to pay premium $$ and have the scope of project completed, while breaking/leaving something else incomplete, bring it here. Oh, also doesn't reply to emails.

David and his team of professionals are absolutely amazing. I am fully satisfied with the work and customer service from beginning to end. Hands down the best mechanic experience I’ve ever had, everyone was super friendly and dropped everything they were doing that day to help us since we were on a road trip. You won’t find the experience and knowledge on classic cars anywhere else. Dave made sure we we’re comfortable and showed other projects in the shop and even messaged us making sure the car was running fine on the trip.

I highly recommend DSD Automotive! David and his team are highly skilled restoration specialists/artisans and the the attention to detail is second to none. I had him replace a scratched bumper on my 1988 560SL which always bothered me and also had him do some cosmetic leather improvements to my seats and straighten a very difficult bent hood vent as well. Not only is David and his team very detail oriented with their work, but David is also very resourceful and can find anything you might need for your car. David found a new stainless steel bumper plate for my car which was a very hard to find and then hand polished it to perfection for the original look. It turned out amazing and could not be happier with the outcome on my bumper along with the other cosmetic work he did on my car. If you’re picky like I am, trust no one else with your car! They truly have a passion for prefection.
