THE OLDEST bar in Hollywood! Right across from Musso and Franks- the oldest restaurant. The food is GREAT! The fish tacos are to die for, I usually get the Cobb salad with extra chicken. That and a Pacifico on draft is living life. The girl bartender with the sides of her head shaved is everyone's favorite. She makes the best drinks! Go to Boardners! It's a real gem in Hollywood

My experience at Boardner’s in Hollywood didn’t start well. After waiting over 20 minutes for a street parking spot, a man who arrived later tried to take the spot we were waiting for. When we parked, he aggressively confronted us, claiming it was his spot, threatened us with a ticket, and then hit the car behind him while trying to park elsewhere. We were two women and felt very nervous because of his aggressive behavior and threatening looks. To our surprise, he turned out to be one of the security staff, which made the situation even more shocking. After calming down, we went inside and explained the situation to another security guard, Chuy, asking him to watch our car. Later, we saw the same man again acting aggressively toward my partner and told us he can kick us out from the place. So rude. We explained everything to the manager, Keenan, who apologized. Boardner’s is a great place with amazing atmosphere, food, and drinks, but this prior incident ruined our experience. We had planned our day around visiting, but due to this, we won’t be coming back.

Beebe — GonnaHappen I absolutely love this classic Hollywood rock bar — Boardner’s by La Belle is one of those rare spots that still captures the real spirit of old-school Hollywood nightlife. The energy, the history, the crowd… it all hits perfectly every time. Originally, I wanted to go see this up-and-coming hot DJ named Zulan, but the show had already started by the time I got there. So I made my way over to Boardner’s instead — and honestly, it ended up being the perfect move. The Depeche Mode / The Cure DJ set was off the hook 🪝 — pure vibes, wall to wall. The tracks took you straight into a 90s alt-rock movie atmosphere. The lighting, the décor, the crowd… everything was electric, and the people were cool and welcoming. After Boardner’s, I made a quick stop by Lucky Strike for one last cocktail on the walk back to the Hilton Garden Inn — the perfect way to close out a Hollywood night. Boardner’s is one of those places where you walk in, grab a drink, and instantly feel like part of the story. Whether you’re into rock, goth, alternative, or just appreciate a bar with real personality, this place always delivers. We had a great night. The drinks were nice and strong. We enjoyed several of their delicious offerings. My friend had a huge burger with fries and she loved it. I had Mac and cheese and pot stickers, which was plenty of food for me. The atmosphere is quiet and calm and the booths are comfortable. This was close to Halloween and they had it decorated nicely.

Boardner's Bar LA It was 10pm when we got there . And had some delicious food , I had tacos . And my brother Wyatt had spilt a sandwich and mozzarella sticks with my mom and he has two delicious cocktails.’ We also all felt some paranormal type feelings when visiting the restroom one after another First my brother felt like he has someone standing above him when he was washing his hands , like someone was up against his back then Mom felt like something was standing over her . Felt something hovering over her when she washed her hands and felt the room feeling tight the air feeling thick Then for me I Felt something run hands up my ankles . Calves and thighs From beneath me Then after i used the restroom and to was washing my hands and felt hands rub up my neck and back of my ear All in the unisex restroom All of us felt the room was thick but don’t let that discourage you from visiting the food is delicious the vibe is cool and gothic and if you have any interest in visiting somewhere with a haunted feel it’s worth a visit. Over all I had a good dinner and I would go back .

As former locals we used to crawl home to our apartment on La Brea after a night of clubbing and inevitable nitecaps at Boardner's...its the safe Hollywood hangout you always wanted!

I usually come here for their Blue Mondays nights, and the venue never disappoints. The two stages and the bar you can sometimes sneak into each have their own distinct vibe. The music inside is always great, and the outdoor sets change every week. The only downsides are the bouncers, who always seem a bit irritated, and the fact that I once had my phone stolen from my pocket here — something I’ve heard continues to be a problem. Still, it’s a solid spot overall. Just remember to bring cash for the entry.
