Mama Lion

Genuinely the worst night of my life. I’ve been here twice and each time was worse than the other. Only if someone were curious what hell might be like, would I bring them to Mama Lion. Young women should beware. At night, the clientele of this club was like a sleaze-fest to see which man could out-creep the other. Everywhere we turned there’d be old men creeping on all the obviously underage women. While we were there, the men were relentless in their harassment, grabbing at us, pulling at our hands, our waists, getting in our faces. It disturbed me when I turned around to tell a bartender and watched one of the creeps dab them up. Do they have some sort of symbiotic relationship? I will never come here again and I would never bring someone I care about to this establishment. I don’t even know if I’d bring an enemy. Screw this place. Dirty too.

The space itself is beautiful and the atmosphere is lively, which made for a fun night out. The drinks were solid and the music kept the energy up. On the flip side, the food portions felt small for the price, and service was a bit slow once things got busy. Not a bad spot overall, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype.

Came in on a Tuesday night because a friend of mine had informed me that they had an amazing happy hour. I never even knew that Mama lion was more than just a social lounge and that they served food. They had amazing specials for the happy hour drinks. I believe they were $6. I got a old fashioned for that price and it was great. My favorite dishes had to be: -Fresh Handmade Guacamole, served with Taro chips: the guac was amazing. It tasted super fresh and I loved how the chips were healthy too because they were made of Taro. & -Crispy Brussel Sprouts, crispy garlic with a slow cooked egg: Love love love how this tasted. It surprisingly went really well with the soft egg. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing all the food here was!

The Korean "security guard" with the sparkly jacket (you know who I’m talking about if you’ve been) was actively trying to pick fights with customers in line. Completely unprofessional.

we went to mama lion last night for drinks and apps. immediately fell in love with this beautifully designed vintage swirled in with modern location. with beautiful painted murals to chandeliers hanging everywhere, this spot definitely delivers the eye candy goods! the apps we got were delicious and the cocktails were stellar!

Mike was one of the friendliest bartenders I've ever met. All around great experience.

Four of my friends phones got stolen tonight. We noticed other patrons also reporting stolen phones to security. Security staff didn’t give a crap and did nothing about it. Avoid this place, but if you’re gonna go, KEEP YOUR PHONES CLOSE
