The Thirsty Crow

📍 Leather bars in Los Angeles

6.7

The Thirsty Crow in Los Angeles offers a unique atmosphere that caters to a diverse crowd, making it a notable spot among leather bars. The establishment is known for its efficient service, with staff ensuring drinks are served quickly. The ambiance is enhanced by a well-curated selection of music, although patrons might want to manage expectations regarding song requests. The bar's layout includes a cozy back area, perfect for small groups or private gatherings without the need for reservations.

While the Thirsty Crow shines in many areas, it's important to note that the food options are limited, so plan accordingly. The bar hosts various events like burlesque shows, adding to its appeal for a fun night out. However, the experience can be somewhat marred by occasional inconsistencies in staff enthusiasm and an atmosphere that might not feel universally welcoming. Overall, The Thirsty Crow presents a mix of great music, attentive service, and a distinctive environment that makes it a standout venue in Los Angeles.

Had a wonderful time here for my fiancés birthday party! Staff was great, drinks were fast and atmosphere was awesome. We had our own little back area for our party of 9 - no reservations either so that was great! They don’t have any food so make sure to eat beforehand. Would definitely come back, we drove up from Long Beach for this spot!

This bar is fine. But they don’t play Taylor Swift, even after TWO requests.

Beware The Haunted House of The Thirsty Crow Enter if you dare, for this bar is the hospitality equivalent of an abandoned carnival—eerie, overpriced, and staffed by people who seem as enthusiastic as ghosts at a tax seminar, with a self-inflated view of its prominence that makes you want to gag. The bartenders serve drinks with all the verve of a haunted house mannequin, and the doorguys/bouncers eye you up and down like fashion-hating phantoms, granting entry only to the chosen few who meet their cryptic code of "acceptable attire." The ambiance? Imagine a dungeon, but without the charm or medieval flair—just shadows, ennui, and the subtle hum of disappointment. Wallet beware: the drink prices are so high, even Dracula would blanch at the blood cost. On a serious (and chilling) note: if you’re a person of color, heed this spectral warning and steer clear. The atmosphere is less "inclusive gathering," more "uninviting séance." In my experience, this establishment’s hospitality is as welcoming as a black crow cawing outside your window in a horror movie—ominous, uninviting, and better avoided on a dark night.

Place is a vibe that you wanna be in. Great atmosphere, great service, great drinks, great prices. Def a winner if you're a whiskey/scotch person too.

Great music and the bartenders are awesome! Good drinks too, very flavorful and unique taste! 🙂 I came here with my friend to watch a burlesque show, and the atmosphere was immaculate. I'd recommend this bar to anyone looking for a fun night out!

Our drinks were delicious in a cozy little classic bar environment. We’ll try to go next time when the DJ is there, but the bartender was still playing some great records. He served us as soon as we walked in & sat at the bar as we were there early in the evening and one of just a few parties. I had the Havana Daiquiri & my husband had the Classic Manhattan - both simple drinks, but beautiful & hit the spot. Easy walking distance for us, so we’ll definitely return.
