My bar home for the last 20ish years. Yeah I don't know how long it's been exactly.. give me a break, I get drunk here, man. Best bartenders in NE! Best KJs! Best vibes. Come when lost, found, or in between and you'll be greeted with loving kindness and acceptance. Rebecca is an earthbound angel of a bartender. The entire staff is family. Otter is community. I am lucky to be a patron. Thanks my Dudes! Love you more! xoxo
Otter Saloon feels like a comforting microcosm of the twin cities thenselves. Karaoke here is the main draw, and it does not disappoint.
The bar owner doesn't care to kick out known creeps and predators, and has repeatedly retaliated against staff who make said predators feel unwelcome. Avoid.
I love this dive bar! The bartenders are incredibly hardworking and as attentive as can be. Sure, the karaoke isn’t the best, but the service and hospitality more than make up for it.
Jojo is a wonderful bartender. This place has wonderful vibes and it’s always a pleasure to come through, especially when Jojo is working. I love the karaoke and the general vibe but the individual workers make all the difference!
Kat Luna is an amazing Karaoke host! Please know you are always in good hands with them. Otter is all around, an amazing old dive. You will find magic in the karaoke nights there. Don't hesitate to try your luck ✨️
My absolute favorite bar. Some of the best bartenders around-especially Rebecca and Liz. I love that karaoke is offered every night, but very bummed out to hear that my favorite KJ Kat was let go- she always ran such a fun show!
