First time there, and I had an interesting experience at this cinema, which was out of the ordinary ones I am used to go to. PRO: -Big room and big screen. -Food is ordered and served where you seat. There are some convenient little table with food menu and button to call the server included with all seating. -Not too much commercial, and the movie start pretty early compared to other theaters that plays an hour of commercial before you can enjoy your actual movie. -Once seated, someone will come to check your ticket and double check that you're seating at the right place. CON: -Seats doesn't recline fully, so people serving food can walk around without bumping into people's feet. -Because of those same people walking around all the time to bring food, take order and remove empty dishes, the movie was often disturbed by those people moving between me and the screen. -Food is "fast food" quality, but more expensive than fast food. Overall, it was an interesting experience going to see a movie there. I am not sure if I will go there again though, because of the annoying passage of people front of me when trying to watch a movie, but if I go it will be without ordering any food this time though.
This has to be my my favorite new Alamo Drafthouse. It's one of the newest, it's the biggest, and it definitely feels the most modern and one of the most immersive movie going experiences I have ever encountered. I have watched a couple of movies here now from 2001 A Space Odyssey to F1 on the Big Show and whichever theater it always feels so slick and high tech like I'm actually in the movie. My only gripe is some theaters have the Exit sign illuminated directly on the projector so it absolutely pulls you out of dark scenes when you see the Exit sign lit right into the screen.
I love this theater. I’ve been an Alamo moviegoer for a while and think this is a great addition to the Alamo family. It doesn’t have the same charm and character as the SF location, but has the advantage of being new and much cleaner. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is actually excellent considering it’s a movie theater. The food is a bit pricey, but so is everything these days, so it doesn’t stand out to me as being more expensive than other places. My only gripe is that the milkshakes should contain more milkshake. Five stars and two thumbs up.
Saw a 4K viewing of perfect view. Came early, burned some money in the arcade. Food and drink is a nice option but passed on that. It was great seeing smaller shows on the big screen!
Absolutely LOVE this movie theater. This theater is walking distance from my house so we walk here. Due to all of the bad reviews, we haven’t given this place a shot, and because of that we missed out! This place is INCREDIBLY CLEAN, the workers are all really nice. These negative reviews are honestly complaining about such small things. When the workers pass by, they bend down , whisper and don’t disturb you. I LOVE the pre show, it makes the movie experience so special and exciting. The food is fast food but this is a movie theater so what do you expect? It still tastes really great. The ordering process is so easy, fast, and efficient. There is a noise policy where you get one warning before being escorted out. However, the sound is so loud so you have to be an actual disruption to be kicked out. I’ve gone to 2 of-13 movies with my kids and have never had any issues. Last but not least, it’s not crowded and fairly priced.
I have been a frequent patron of Alamo Drafthouse for years, but this most recent visit was a disappointing experience. We arrived to the theater well before the movie started and promptly ordered food, but didn't receive our drinks or food until nearly an hour and 20 minutes into the screening. People around us who had arrived and ordered after us received their food promptly, including additional orders after receiving the first. I understand that food/drinks don't always arrive sequentially, but seeing people who walked into the theater just as the opening credits started, get their food within in 15 minutes was very frustrating. We only received a portion of our order after raising an order card to alert them that we hadn't received our entire order. In addition, the food runners consistently didn't deliver food to the correct seat, which later resulted in our neighbors' food/drink items being added to our bill and realizing items we ordered had been delivered mistakenly to neighbors on either side of us. We never received our full orders even after alerting the staff, but the missing items were still included on our bill. It's one thing to mess up a final bill by including other attendees' items, but to not even receive the items and still be expected to pay for them is ridiculous. I have been to numerous Alamo Drafthouses and I know that customer service is one of their top priorities, but this experience has been a massive let-down. This location's service, in my opinion as a frequent Alamo visitor, is not up to par with other locations and employees should be better trained before helping customers. We have learned our lesson and will not be ordering anything other than popcorn at future screenings if we end up coming back at all.
Such a unique movie-going experience! I love the pre-show which has themes relating to the movie, and it's great how there aren't a bunch of long, boring movie trailers to sit through. Staff here are super nice and it's nice to know they will remove anyone causing too much noise. (I haven't seen it happen but it gives me peace of mind that my experience won't be disrupted) The theater itself is bright and clean and there's a fun arcade area too. I hope they stick around.
