Big Machine Brewery & Distillery

Took sometime for the server (Jacob) to come to the table once he did he seemed disinterested in helping us. We placed our order and 3 of the five items on the flight menu were sold out. So he recommend his choices and wouldnt even let my husband ask questions. He then gave us our drinks and right after immediately the bill. Didn't even ask if we liked anything or if we wanted more drinks or to purchase any bottles.

We did a last minute Distillery Tour and let me tell you, it was worth every Penny! It was pretty amazing how smooth their Vodka was, but considering it was distilled 25x, it was fantastic. Then, going into the Bourbon room, we learned a ton about bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey. After the tastings, I had to buy a single barrel as it was amazing! Well done Big Machine!

Great spot for drinks. Feels like a classic British isles pub. We did a "mix your own" class and our guide, Patrick, was fabulous. Lots of fun, learned a lot - great experience. And took home a wonderful bottle of our own brew mix.

We joined the Big Machine Brewery & Distillery for their "Blend Your Own Bourbon" class. As a surprise for my husband's birthday, I knew immediately that I'd chosen the right place when we walked off the busy Downtown Nashville street and what felt like back in time!! The ambiance of the place was amazing: cool, classy, and exactly what I was hoping for. The music was even perfect--not blow your ears out country, but soulful. Gruff. Low key. Like my husband. It went well with his glass of bourbon, he said, which he enjoyed while we waited for the class to begin. The class was led by a very knowledgeable, capable, friendly guy named Jim, who immediately came to our table upon hearing this was a surprise for my husband. Jim not only led the class in an exceptional experience, but thanks to his expert guidance, we walked out with not one, but TWO bottles of amazingly different flavored bourbons! My husband has already asked if we can do this for his birthday every year, lol. Whether you're visiting Nashville from out of town or are just coming for a night on the town, I cannot recommend the "Blend Your Own Bourbon" class--and Jim, our fantastic guide--enough. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!! I may even have to surprise my husband and do this again for Christmas, hehe.

We came here just passing thru, the bourbon was good but Paul was amazing. He went well above and beyond. I will come again and look for this outstanding service. My wife says the Whiskey Mango Tea was delicious and the old fashion was on point. Must stop in.

We did the Blend Your Own Bourbon experience at Big Machine Distillery, and it was absolutely amazing — worth every penny! Jim was our guide, and he’s exceptionally knowledgeable about bourbon and the entire process behind making it. We learned so much throughout the two-hour session! We started by sampling six different barrels, each with its own unique flavor profile, and then narrowed it down to create our own personalized, perfectly balanced blend. You walk away not only with your own custom bottle, but also a deeper appreciation for spirits and the craft behind them. Highly recommend this experience — especially if you’re a bourbon lover or just curious to learn more about how it’s made. Jim made the entire experience fun, educational, and unforgettable!

Our host, Josh, was outstanding—fun, engaging, and made the whole thing unforgettable. 💯 Incredible value for the cost. Highly recommend this spot—10/10 birthday win! 🥳
