Nashville Underground has a rating of 4.1 out of 5 based on over 2355 reviews on Google
Ill start with the bad and finish with the good. The mozzarella sticks were the worst i have ever had. Im guessing you could probably get better ones at 7 eleven. The sinks in the bathroom are weird and I watched 5 people try to figure out how to turn the water on. Three people walked out without washing their hands because they couldn't figure it out. Luckily I realized how it worked so I could wash my hands before going back in to the public. They had no draft beer because apparently their coolers were down so the beer wasnt cold, I really just wanted draft but I suppose things happen especially in a busy area like this. I got the hot wings and they were pretty good the waitress tried to talk me out of them becauseshe said they were to hot. I wish she wouldnt have because I would have gotten the ring of fire and not the hot because the hot were not that hot in my opinion. Im not saying I won't come back but I probably won't recommend it. Well as im writing this someone pulled the fire alarm so no one can hear anything but this loud alarm. What a great experience
VERY DISSAPONTING EXPERIENCE WITH NASHVILLE UNDERGROUND "NU" The evening of January 19th was to be an exciting & fun end to a very amazing conference! Booked & coordinated full access to the 3rd floor PLUS FREE BOWLING for 70+ since November thru Teddy, Event Coordinator. Continuous communication & confirmation. WE WERE SOOOO READY to have FUN our last night in Nashville. Day before our event, I sent an anticipation & final confirmation message to Teddy, no reply. Called NU & emailed thru "contact us". NO ANSWER FROM EITHER & since 2 DAYS AGO! Somehow OpenTable sent me a message confirming the reservation. Didn't originally book NU thru OpenTable but ok, I FELT RELIEVED UNTIL I ARRIVED TO A CLOSED VENUE FOR OUR FUN NIGHT! Unnecessary monies spent on Rideshares when there were other venues closer to our hotel. We wanted fun activities in addition to food, reason for choosing Nashville Underground. Result, VERY DISAPPOINTED & VERY UNHAPPY FACES! ANGER FOR ME! Hard Rock, across the street from Nashville Underground deserves shout outs for being so hospitalable. Alisa, Lawrence, Marcus & the FABULOUS CHEF, BEAR listened to what I had just experienced. Alisa placed a quick takeout order, Bear did his thang with the ribs, DEEEEELICOUS!!!
Lots of fun, the staff was friendly and on top of everything from food, gathering plates and cups, and making drinks. Great atmosphere and an even better view of downtown. Attended for a private event and had a great time.
Don’t get why this place doesn’t have better reviews online. Which I guess makes it better because it’s never truly packed. The food here is amazing. More specifically the ring of fire wings! Best and hottest dry run I’ve had in my life! Great atmosphere, great service, fun games and bowling to play. Live music upstairs. Been twice this week. Will come back 10/10
We had a REALLY good time at this venue. We were concerned at first due to the negative reviews and what was reported and just secured a back-up plan in case things did not pan out. So, we made our reservation in the app. Unfortunately, the person we were communicating with wasn't there that day, HOWEVER, I was able to access the communication to show the manager, who honored the prices we were given for bowling. When we got there the 3rd floor was not quite open yet so there was just a bit of a wait before we were able to order drinks and food. Once we figured out how to get the bowling games started it was all good! Maddie was the absolute best bartender! The food was good and came with a reasonable wait. The atmosphere was great - football games were on, music going, and arcade games to play between our turns for bowling. I gave 4 stars for food because I tried the Jalapeno Burbon wings and they didn't really have any flavor to me. Everything else was great!
Maybe it was because it was early but the vibe here during Monday lunch was - we don't want you here. The barkeep was not friendly, in fact our interaction was below minimal. Once the food was delivered, there was no how was your food... which I will get to in a minute. She did not ask if we wanted a refill, just filled the water and soda. My son was halfway through his meal and she asked if I wanted the check, I looked at his plate and answered no. Another gentleman sat down beside us and after a few minutes he asked me if someone was working ... as the bartender frequently went upstairs, leaving the few patrons downstairs alone. The security guy at the door also double duties as the mechanical bull operator, which meant he actually stopped a rider mid ride to cars someone coming in. The food- the fried green tomatoes had zero flavor. The pimento cheese topping was less than stellar. I made a quick dipping sauce with hot sauce, Mayo and a splash of ranch to make them palatable. The fries and chicken tenders were fair, nothing special. All in all we had an overpriced app and lunch meal, where the atmosphere was promising, and ungracious service.
Stopped in to Underground for a quick drink before heading up the strip. We got a drink on 1st floor and Maddy the bartender was the sweetest thing. She recommended the punch drink they have on their menu and it was delicious. Quick service and super friendly. All around good vibes.
