Very loud bar. Like, to the point that my ears were hurting and I had to leave before I could see the band I paid to see. No walls inside to block any noise, so I guess you're SOL if the weather is bad. Parking also is inadequate, had to go to the other side of Gallatin Pike. I've been to plenty of noisy bars and clubs so I know what's reasonable. This was not. This place needs to hire a soundproofing person.
Stopped by one night on a recommendation from a bartender in 12th South while passing thru town. Had a great time seeing Noel Mckay perform and Ive been listening to him ever since.
The greatest dive bar iv ever been to. Guthrie Trapp Trio were sensational. Great musicians love to play here for the vibe.

Love this spot. If you're lookin for a great East Nashville dive bar with good vibes, a solid pool table, great drink prices, live music with some phenomenal bands on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Karoake on Fridays, cruise on through. I feel like the Underdog is spot I can actually make my own and been lovin getting to know the community in here

Dropped by this venue for some live music, and it did not disappoint. The vibe is laid-back, with funky, eclectic decor that sets the perfect tone. They’ve got a solid beer selection, and the staff is super cool and welcoming. Great spot to relax and enjoy the tunes!
