LOVE the vibes inside this restaurant. It’s so creative and you definitely feel the nautical atmosphere. Everyone here feels like they love their job and they are so friendly and nice. I loved my drink but I want to come back for food!
One of my favorites in FiDi/Tribeca - Along same lines as Brandy Library, Weather up etc Love the nautical ambience and drinks. The vibe is always chilled out and uber cool. The oysters are just one of a kind - favorites this time were the Shibumi from Skagit Bay Washington
This place has such a cool, energetic and yet cozy vibe! We had such a great meal, the BBQ shrimp, the Lobster Frites and Steak Frites ... cooked perfectly! The drinks were also spot on ... the Mezcal Hurricane! Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We totally come back again!
Holy Water is a fantastic find in Tribeca! The staff is super friendly and attentive, always ready to help with drink or food picks. We sampled five cocktails, and the Mariner (gin-based) stole the show—perfectly crafted and refreshing. Highly recommend it! The food was great too: creamy oysters that tasted super fresh, juicy chicken with great seasoning, and a solid hanger steak. Their lobster frites were a nice surprise, rich and satisfying. The vibe is unique, like stepping into a New Orleans ship’s underbelly with candles, nautical art, and cozy seating—perfect for a romantic night or hanging with friends. Finding the entrance on Reade St can be a bit confusing, but the experience inside makes up for it. Overall, a very good spot I’d happily visit again
J’ADORE this cozy little nautical haunt. Or should I say, I USED to. Me and the girlies had a table reserved here—we usually go to Odeon after church but decided to mix it up for Mardi Gras. Well, that was a BIG mistake. The food and cocktails were to kill for, and trust me: I’m a big foodie. Kitchen Confidential is my OTHER bible LoL 🤪. We licked the plates. We licked our fingers. We licked each others fingers. THATS how damn yummy the goodies were. But not even an hour into our supper the host told us we had to wrap it up because they needed to give our table to another party. I was like… girl what? We done ordered the damn menu and this is how you treat your paying customers? My girl next to me was giving me such side eye they damn near popped out her dang sockets and into her martini with the olives. I knew she would never let me hear the end of it if I made a scene so I bit my tongue, said thank you, did not tip, and will never return to Holy Water!
Amazing service here and good strong drinks with a solid wine selection. The vibes are right with a lively and hip crowd on a Friday night. We tried the caviar tater tots which were delicious although a pretty steep price to pay for only 12 tots. Still I’m giving 5 stars for such awesome service and tasty drinks. I’ll be back for sure!
Fantastic experience with theatrical cocktails and tasty Jell-O shots. The decorations were amazing and very festive for the holidays.
