Purple Passion/DV8

Awesome shop with heaps of fun toys, outfits, all that good stuff. Incredible source for latex wear. Dropped in to buy latex in person for the first time (I have ordered a few bits here and there, but still about learning sizing and care etc.) and got some great latex briefs, a BEAUTIFUL mule deer leather flogger (this thing is art), and some other assorted toys. A very kind human showed me the ins and outs of fitting, helped me find what I was looking for, and helped me get things tried on to make sure they were right for me. Really awesome experience, made me feel at ease and gave me some fitting tips. Only detraction was the person who checked me out, who seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else doing anything else. This is supposed to be a fun shopping experience (and, outside of that, it really was)! I initially thought, oh well we all have bad days, but when I told two separate professionals about going shopping there, both asked me if "the grumpy person" checked me out, which, honestly, was pretty darn funny to me. Anyway, yeah, great shop, looking forward to coming back whenever possible. Maybe I'll bring the cashier flowers or something 🙂

Came here with my partner to get some latex pieces. We were very new to latex gear but the employee who helped us out, Adi, was an absolute gem! Adi helped us out with everything from getting the latex on us to getting us pieces that fit us and our style. Would definitely recommend this place if you are new to latex and want to get your first piece!

This review is for the shorter white woman with blonde hair working on Tuesday, 7/29 at 7pm. I know the store closes at 7pm, and I arrived exactly at closing. I politely asked if I could quickly grab one item. There were two women at the entrance: the taller woman with black hair was polite and understanding, but the blonde woman’s behavior was appalling. She was rude, unprofessional, and treated me as if I was a problem rather than a customer. She kept saying "no" over and over in a harsh tone and practically tried to push me out of the entrance. I wasn’t expecting special treatment or to be allowed in, but there is absolutely no excuse for such hostility. This woman’s attitude reflects terribly on the business, and the store manager needs to address it immediately. No customer should ever be treated like that.

Adi is everything!!! I came here for a corset for a personal project and the staff was incredible — everyone was so helpful but Adi was especially outstanding. They were patient and supportive with getting me fitted, and the corset was perfect! Thanks a million, Adi & company!

This is the best shop in the city. Go! If you open your eyes, you will find something you like. They have everything, from shoes, latex, leather, PVC, chains, Bondage, lace, collars, a huge array of ‘hitty’ impact toys, vibrators, plugs, restraints, rope, collars, cuffs, etc… . They are super helpful. They are real. Don’t be shy. There is no shame here. Just ask! No one will bite… if you are afraid of that, they can show you the gags. 🙂 Shop Purple Passaion so we can still have places that let us try things and help us learn. Have fun!
