TNT Sports Tavern
TNT Sports Tavern in Norfolk offers a casual working-class bar experience with a focus on sports and socializing. The establishment is known for its friendly atmosphere and prompt service, particularly when the bartender is attentive. Patrons often praise the quality of the wings and onion rings, highlighting the crispiness and flavor. The karaoke nights add a lively touch, though some suggest updating the music selection and refreshing the decor.
However, service can be inconsistent, with some visitors reporting long waits or hostile interactions. The bar is a smoking facility, which may not appeal to everyone. Despite occasional hiccups, TNT Sports Tavern remains a popular spot for those seeking a relaxed, social environment with good food and drinks.

Depends on the bartender, If service is good. One who is the worst, I've been a bartender. They don't see beyond the bar itself., we patrons in the audience will wait a long time for a drink, again, depends on the bartender. If you go there you will definitely know, leave if you don't mind waiting, it won't get any better.
I've been looking for the best wings in the area and I've tried a lot of places... this place surprised me. Ask for them well done and they come out so crispy despite the sauce but don't worry about the sauce because they put the perfect amount. The hot honey flavor was the bomb and the onion rings were super crispy, too. I love how sweet the bartender is and she's also quick. I go to this place for karaoke and I love the vibe. Everyone is so welcoming and social! I just wish they had newer music and I think the restaurant itself needs a face-lift.
Really nice friendly bar. Didn't try any food, but the beer and alcohol was good and very prompt.
I picked somebody up on New Year's night and as an extra tip for the ride they gave me some garlic parmesan wings and fries. The food was excellent 💯
You expect the servers at working-class bars to be colorful characters, but the woman behind the bar when I went in was downright hostile, loudly berating another customer (who was very polite) while ignoring me and never offering me a menu. I was scared to ask because she was cussing too much. I finally flagged her down, paid, and left post-haste. Will not return.
*THIS IS A SMOKING FACILITY* If you don’t like the smell of cigarettes this will not be a place for you , I don’t mind it therefore it doesn’t bother me. I had the philly cheesesteak with fries and it was great, my drink was well measured and the music was great only issue was the TouchTunes was unplugged. ***UPDATE*** I was kicked out tonight without knowing why, I entered with my brother ordered drinks and then asked to leave. When I was asked, "Why I had to leave?" I wasn’t given an explanation. I purchased 2 drinks cause I don’t like leaving a tab open and wasn’t even offered a refund. Really disappointed in this entire ordeal. I will be escalating the matter.
Sometimes all you want is a whole in the wall. Great place.
