If I could give Zero stars to this dog shit place, I would. Went in on the night of 16 DEC 2025 to shoot some pool with a close friend of mine. I have an ADA LICENSED service dog NOT AN ESA OR A PET, and the tool bag working behind the bar doesn’t know the difference nor the legality issues he just caused for himself and the bar he works at by not allowing access to a SERVICE dog and handler. He proceeded to "close" the bar early, conveniently enough right after I told him Oceanside PD was on the way. He proceeded to close the bar at Appx. 11pm when their hours are until 1am. 10/10 don’t recommend wasting your time at this place nor spending the absurd overcharge costs for a simple beer. Do better, Maxdon’s.

Haven't been in years and decided to try it out. Everything has changed since 5 years ago and it felt more like a dive bar than anything. Couldn't get food because the bartender didn't know how to cook or what to cook since she was by herself. One thing I did notice was when she grabbed a ball of ice from the back with her hand. Ewww... Gross. The other guy did grab it with disposable gloves. She was rushing an forgot about our tab. I felt she was rushed, exhausted, and seemed irritated.

Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something…five star rating because the drinks we ordered were so delicious…a twist on Bloody Mary’s. Andy, the bartender was very personable and added hefty slices of bacon to my three Bloody Mary’s, some lime, lemon and olives. She highered my standards on this drink. Definitely recommend to anyone who happens to visit Oceanside. Environment was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Make sure to get here early to play pool!

California updated the design of their drivers license on October. I renewed my ID this month and they thought it was fake. I gave them evidence in the form of articles in California change the design and they didn’t believe me.

Clean pool tables and equipment. Good space for shooters. A little bit too loud.

Great spot for meet-ups, it has many pool tables, shuffle board, a touchtunes jukebox, and great prices on drinks.

First time at this place. Local Pub I really enjoyed this place. Great drinks. They have nice pool tables and very clean restrooms.
