We went here spontaneously for a vinyl D&B event which is hard to find in Pasadena. Overall, easy vibes and an industrial garage feel for the DJ. The place is small but intimate, and a nice outdoor patio with smoking and patio tables available. If you are considering going for a music event here, I would recommend as a nice local music venue without mainstream vibes.

Bar crawl with friends on Friday night and we ended our night at Old Towne Pub. I hadn't been here in decades ... some things don't change and that's the incredible charm of this great dive bar. It's still a great place for live music and good beer.

This place is so fun. Tucked away inside a secret lair, in the middle of Old Town Pasadena, this pub with a dream come true to see live music. I heard that Van Halen got their start here and we saw an amazing Ween cover band called Buckingham Ween, they rocked it so hard it almost melted my face. I can't wait to come back here, the promoter was amazing, Blues for Sallah, in the crowd was social and cool. I wish I could give six stars across the board. I'll be back soon, and hopefully you'll be there too.

Great venue to see new bands, enjoy some cold beer and hang out with friends. Parking was a challenge due to Oasis concert at the Rosebowl, but found parking in nearby structure for $20. We will be back! Great taco stand near back patio closed at 8pm, was able to grab some nachos, quesadilla and 2 tacos to bring in and enjoy my beer with.

Well, I haven't been here in about 40 years and it's kind of interesting when you come back after so long. In a way, it looks very similar, especially the courtyard. I really like the building that it's in as it is so old that you can see generations of improvements on it. The drinking is another story. You should always buy alcohol when you go to a bar like this especially listening to music but the night I went they ran out of any decent beer and so experience was less than optimal. The music was good and the courtyard of course is cool to sit in but it's just doesn't have it all together anymore and that's just too bad. Again it could just be the night I went so...

Awesome dive bar tucked in an alley in Old Town Pasadena. The train is a few blocks away at Memorial Park.

I don't think I ever reviewed this place but I should - it's where I got married 8 years ago today! The best bartender in the world, Nikki , introduced us to the place and after spending some time there as bar-flys it worked out that we had our wedding there. Still stands as one of the most fun days of my life. I am so happy that it seems the pub is still going strong - especially now during the pandemic. We live out of state now, otherwise, it would still be a regular watering-hole. This place is awesome - if you haven't been, GO. And if you've been, GO BACK! I feel so lucky I got to get married there 🙂
