Great Vibes and Tasty Bites at Agave Bandido Visited again in January 2026—Agave Bandido remains one of my favorite go-to spots in Pembroke Pines for Mexican food with a lively vibe. I've been here several times, and it consistently delivers a solid experience. The outdoor bar is a popular hangout, especially on sunny afternoons. It’s much easier to find a seat earlier in the day; evenings get busier, so plan accordingly. The outdoor seating is also a great option, though some tables are a bit wobbly—worth checking before sitting down. Inside, the decor and lighting are on point, with a colorful and thematic design that matches the menu. The only downside? The music volume indoors can make quiet conversations difficult. Service is generally attentive and friendly. One highlight is their tableside guacamole—always fresh and flavorful. We usually go for fajitas, burritos, and chips, and everything is consistently well-prepared. No complaints on the food. When it comes to drinks, their house Bandido beer is a must-try. The margaritas are tasty, though smaller in size compared to what you might get in nearby Miami or Fort Lauderdale. That said, the pricing is on the higher end—expect to pay around $13 for a classic margarita. This is the type of place I enjoy most in the afternoons on a nice day—kick back at the outdoor bar with a drink and some light bites. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Exceptional service!!! We had the pleasure of being hosted by Jaliyah D. She was attentive throughout our dinner and provided knowledge about the menu when asked about different plates and drinks. The food was outstanding, the entree guacamole made by our table was delicious and fresh in all ingredients. The steak quesadillas were delicious and very high amount of protein. This was not our first time, but probably our eight and every time we come we have never been disappointed. This place is must!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lisandra’s service is simply outstanding. She is an incredible bartender, always with a smile on her face and the best attitude to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Her skills behind the bar are obvious—she knows exactly how to craft amazing drinks and turn every tequila into a great experience. Her kindness truly makes the difference and makes you want to come back again and again. Agave Bandido is spectacular, and with Lisandra behind the bar, it’s even better. 100% recommended. Come and enjoy a great tequila.
Nice option to stop at after a full day of shopping in Pembroke Gardens. It is also pet friendly with seating in the outdoor patio and by the bar outside. During the week, they have a decent happy hour including drinks and food. The salad I had was delicious and flavorful but my tequila paloma not so much, it was too juicy for my taste. Our bartender although efficient and fast with everything was a bit dry. We didn’t even catch his name since he really didn’t introduce himself. Also, had we not asked, we would not have found out about the happy hour menu or that there were taco Tuesday specials. Overall it’s a nice restaurant, great vibe with good music.
I always have a great time at this bar. Lisandra and Pico are so friendly and welcoming and really help create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The drinks are consistently good, the service is quick, and they always make you feel comfortable whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been there before. It’s an easy place to enjoy a drink and unwind. Definitely a spot I enjoy coming back to.
The good: The service and atmosphere. The bad: The chips were a little salty. There's a limited happy hour drink menu to three drinks which is disappointing. The review: Great atmosphere, service and good!
Great service! Emeli was amazing! She always checked on us to make sure we were good… Love that! The food was amazing. Very well seasoned and I enjoyed every bite! I will definitely be back!!!
