This rating is based on night life vibes. It’s mid. To be honest, it was a Saturday night and it was filled with a bunch of MEN! No hate to men… but women bring the vibes. Not much dancing because it was more so men watching us dance and it was lowkey creepy. Typically, the music is good at vinyl, I’ve been when they had fantastic DJs. Unfortunately, the night we went there was not a good ratio of people dancing to people watching others dance. Vibes were weird. They also charged us $15 to come in and we didn’t know it was going to be lame city, USA. Little did they know we planned to dance the whole night but left Vinyl after about 30 mins because it was off putting. Drinks are good.

Wow! When reviews say that this is one of the places where you start your night but end up staying till closing, they aren’t wrong!! We walked in here on a Thursday evening at the start of happy hour. We ordered shishito peppers & tater tots for food items & then tried several cocktails on the happy hour & regular menu. Everything was so delicious and fantastic! I personally loved the sound of silence cocktail (made with fruit loop milk cereal concentrate as explained by one of the bartenders) & my partner loved her Magdalena cocktail. The live music by a single performer was great & then the live band karaoke afterwards was SO much fun to watch and enjoy. Service was great and this place is a vibe. Next time we are in Philly, we will definitely be back!

We arrived for our Resy reservation at 8:45pm on December 2, 2025 after receiving a text at 8:15 confirming our reservation. The doors were closed and locked. Another couple also showed up and couldn't get in. They said this also happened last time they came. We all left after 5 minutes. What's going on?

My best friend from NY came to Philly for the weekend and boy O boy, VINYL did not disappoint us!!! The ambience is wonderful and I appreciated how fast the line to get in the restroom (unisex) moved. The live DJ had the place ROCKING and us on our feet 💃🏾💃🏻 for most of the night. Our hostess was extremely friendly and gave us A-1 SERVICE 💥💥💥 Last but definitely not least, the energy in Vinyl was EVERYTHING we hoped it would be!!!

We had the best time starting off our night at Vinyl. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the cool vibe of the place. The staff was extremely attentive, and made sure our drinks were never empty and the food was great too. And to top it off, the live music was amazing. We were there to see Jack Life, and they sounded so good, that we will definitely come back to Vinyl to see them again.

Love the vibe of this place! They have shows starting at 6pm, right at the time they open the door, and happy hour ends at 8pm. Perfect place to grab a drink or light bites. Beautiful decor, good service, good drinks - especially Empire State of mind. For party goers, they have Wednesday & Thursday bottle service special for $250, which is a very good deal! Definitely a fun place to get the night started!

Reem was an excellent bartender. He took care of me and my buddies all night. It was an awesome night. One of the best spots in Philly.
