We stumbled upon this place in the middle of Glenwood (fast-pace, chaotic). Peggy’s was quiet and intimate, which was perfect for our relaxing night out. John and crew recommended mussels, spinach artichoke dip, and firecracker shrimps. Amazing recommendations! Mussels and dip were my absolute favorite. They complimented one another very well. We ordered our go to drinks but there was a wide range to choose from. Service was professional and classy! We will for sure be back!
Ray and the other gentleman (really wish I had caught his name) were absolutely amazing to my husband and I. Food recommendations were fantastic, drinks were excellent. These gentleman made the experience worth coming again when we come through the area. Got to learn some history on quite a few bottles, absolutely worth hearing it from them! Very personable, pleasant, and a joy to spend time with. Highly recommend this place because of these two men.
Rey the bartender took care of us with the most amazing cocktails, atmosphere and live music. I will be back for the aesthetic , the bartenders vibes, the romantic setting and the most unique intimate bar in glenwood! <3
My friend and I went tonight and Steven, Ray, Tiffany and John were so fun and friendly. Ray found us a drink we’d like, and Doug was the DJ and he was great! The whole staff kept up conversations when they had time and were super fun to talk to. The vibes were immaculate. It’s a nice speakeasy type of place. Very quaint and personal. We visited many times throughout the night and it’s now on our Raleigh must stop bar list!
We were walking and realized about this new place on the corner of Hibernian so we decided to walk and check it out and it was an amazing experience!!! The bartender was amazing super friendly and she got some skills for sure!!! She made us feel super welcome and had a good conversation with her. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the crowd. They have delicious cocktails that I'll definitely highly recommend to try!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Peggys was very welcoming to an out of town person like myself, immediately offering me a drink on the house and making me feel welcome. Great service and atmosphere. Can't recommend enough.
