The drinks were incredible, nice, and strong. We enjoyed the classic ribeye plate. The grits were a nice touch! The service was wonderful. Shout-out to Noah! Bread pudding was delicious as well. Great night out experience!

My first time entering this speakeasy and it was so amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. So cool. Extensive cocktail menu and the drinks were on point! Food was excellent too. Bartenders were friendly and knew their stuff! Good recommendations on everything. Can't wait to go back when I get to Richmond again.

Had a great experience. Be prepared with the passcode, a good joke, or a fun fact to be let in. Lol. Had a few appetizers between the two of us and a couple great drinks! They had a large list of whiskey options! Best part is, they smoke drinks and include egg and some drinks like the whiskey sour.

This is such a fun restaurant! I enjoy dressing in character! The drinks and food were fantastic. The service was outstanding. But I only gave three stars for atmosphere. I absolutely love the bookstore /library entrance, but then the rest of the restaurant fell kind of short. It could use some fresh paint in the bathrooms, which I'm picky about. There is definitely bare bones decoration in the main dining area but the lightening is nice. Also, the music that they were playing was more electronic dance music and I had wished that they had been playing 1920s and 1930s music to fit the theme. Overall I would recommend!

The anchovies on the Caesar salad were white anchovies which are sardines. The food was alright, but the portions were very small. I left hungry and for the price we paid was unacceptable. My wife said her cut of filet was not good, or seasoned. Their list of drinks were overwhelming though, and if we were to go back it would just be for alcohol. The vibe to this place was incredible! The front is a small hole in the wall book store. Loved the idea!

Came w my wife and had a great dinner. The soup, roasted red pepper, was the star! The coconut shrimp was good too, and I forgot to take pictures of my steak and wife's entree, but both were great. We loved our drinks, and the music really gave this place a pleasant vibe. Perfect atmosphere / ambiance for a date and if you were coming just for drinks. Very friendly service, too. We'll be back.

Went for a birthday dinner and LOVED the secret door entry! We were seated in a booth- 6 grown adults, so it was tight fit. The food was AMAZING! I had the pork shank and experienced #tendernism the grits were perfectly cooked. I was not a fan of the duck drumettes because they taste like Chinese food. The crab dip was delicious and creamy, while the Brussels were crispy and flavorful. As far as drinks, I had The Shiv, and it tasted just like I expected-incredible. I ended up drinking two and some glasses of water. The staff was nice and accommodating, and the vibe was alternative chic- sparkly dresses, with piercings and tattoos ❤️ I could not really hear the music, but that was ok because I was fine with talking to those at my table. The bathrooms are really clean, which is a plus after drinking. I definitely plan on returning.
