The Verdant Lady

One of the cocktail bars in Richmond. Not many seating areas, primarily at the point bar. Inventive cocktails but even standards like Rye old fashioned is expertly made. Food is partnered with a nearby crepes place, savory and sweet options are varied and tasty.

Best cocktails in all of Richmond, seriously. It’s the spot you don’t want anyone else to know about. Seldom is there a place that’s worth standing while you sip. This is that place. Bartenders are skilled and every drink is a work of art. Thank you ladies for a wonderful Friday night beverage. Absolute perfection.

Charming and beautiful speakeasy little bar! Definitely try the drinks The Verdant Lady and Doc Holiday. You wouldn't expect to walk into this gorgeous space from how it looks outside, but this is definitely a hidden treasure. This is my friend's favorite bar and I'm thankful he took me here while I was visiting. Kat and the staff are truly lovely people and they make such delicious and creative drinks!! I don't drink due to health issues, but they serve the BEST crepes from next door. That lasagna crepe has changed my life (it was so good, I forgot to take pictures of the drinks). It's a great collaboration! I will definitely be back on my next trip.

I would say having been to quite a few cocktail bars in my life around the world, I would rate the drink quality as the best I have had. A bold statement I know, but the drinks were truly amazing. Not over powerful, the ingredients were balanced and there wasn't any over powering flavours that I find ruin a good cocktail. I had 3 drinks and all of them were fantastic. I would of had 2 drinks but the first 2 were so good I had to see they could be topped. Highly recommend a visit. Keep up the good work!

My favorite bar by far, service is excellent and all the bartenders are familiar and comfortable with their craft. The design and atmosphere are fun and cozy, and everything is clean and well kept. Mel is my fav, she's here every Friday

The look of the place itself is the best part, there's no sign or markings for the bar. The service was awful though, sat there for awhile (10 min) before even being approached and asked about drinks when I was one of the people out of 5. Waitress wasn't friendly at all and for the cost of drinks and not to mention very over priced food, wouldn't consider coming here again. It's a nice once and done with experience but otherwise could've lived without it.

Went there a few times recently. Had a great time, meet some great people and the drinks were delish. Looking forward to my next visit (hopefully this weekend lol) Pairs well with the restaurant next door Les Crepes for great night out and about!
