In Sac/Roseville for business, and found HD after dinner. Great cocktails. A page of classy staples, riffs, and fresh seasonal menu as well. Sours are great, anything with an egg white is on my list to try. Jason is a pleasure to chat with. Look at their IG Story each day.

Quite literally the best drinks I have ever had . The vibe is 10/10 . My husband and I literally come here every Saturday for date night . Every single Staff member is kind and funny and enjoyable to be around. Yes , it can be crowded but that’s part of the appeal as if you are lucky to be there . Tell No one bring everyone is the damn truth I want everyone to experience this place but don’t want to have to share it with anyone . I would give more than five stars if possible . Don’t be a dumbass give it a try!

Amazing cocktails and such a fun and warm ambiance. The staff were so friendly and provided exceptional service. You can get the password for entry from their Instagram page and the establishment is 21 or older only for entry only, so bring your ID as they scan them at the door. Will definitely be back in the future!

Very well done! Luke did this proper! Amazing attention to detail and very unique authentic vibes. Everything Luke the owner does is top notch! A few of us from the local chamber went to support and it was a blast! This is a must check out if your out in Roseville!!

This is true speak easy type of a cocktail establishment! There's no sign outside whatsoever. The only thing that gave away was the not so easy speaking voices from inside through a window. You got to knock on the door and tell a password which is available from their Instagram account. Absolutely cool! The cocktails were amazing. We had 4 different kinds and all of these were great. Tasty, balanced and with a kick! Pure joy. The service was prompt and polite. They are professionals that know what they are doing. The ambience is fully speak easy like. Notice that there are not many seats available, the place is small. Wear comfortable shoes to stand. Nobody was drunk, mostly couples having cocktails after dinner, so not a dive bar. Most people were dressed nicely. Just adults having a good time and minding their own conversations. I didn't notice any food at all. Didn't ask either. It seemed nobody was there for any snack.

Very chill establishment. Very dark. Very Old School. Go to their Instagram for the password to get in. No signage. Google maps will get you there. The Proper Old Fashion was perfect.

Actually hidden (lived here for years before I knew it was there!) and password protected, this speakeasy sports an intimate setting and tailored cocktail list of delicious and adventurous beverages. I haven't had a drink that has been less than excellent. I'm lucky to have a superior speakeasy in Roseville rather than heading all the way to Sac.
