Cinemark Round Rock 14

Good theater in Round rock area. Went for watching a Tamil South Indian movie. Theater was very good and neat. Plenty of parking spaces. Good cushioned seats. Good sound effect.

This is a nice theater, clean, modern, also serves alcohol. However I must mention it does not have the best seats as far as I'm concerned. The seats are nice and cushiony they even have a heating function, however when you recline to put your feet up your head also lays back too much and it's bad positioning in order to look forward toward the screen.

The positives of this theatre are: The seats are awesome, they heat and recline. The prices are typical and they have the discounted times. The place is clean and not very crowded when we went. Laura was checking tickets and was very friendly and helpful. Tickets were easy to get and use. Bathrooms were clean. The negatives are: They definitely have a moth problem. They are flying around while you are watching the moving and it’s annoying and kind of gross. We saw The Rise of Gru. The previews were very inappropriate for kids. One was an ad for poltergeist and the other was an Amazon "sex talk" ad. When we mentioned it to management they seemed concerned and hopefully will look into that. The popcorn is really small kernels. Kind of what would be at the bottom. They also no longer offer free refills of popcorn. Overall a good theatre to take kids too or a cheap parents night out.

Nice cinema in Round Rock area, very comfortable location with lots of parking place, auditoriums and comfortable seats, polite and friendly staff people, fast service and delicious popcorn. But, unfortunately, very dirty restrooms and hallways, full of tissues, food, empty plastic on the floor, so sad to see it, very disappointed and hope coming people and personal will take care more about it, it’s not difficult to clean after yourself. Cinema is for enjoying movie not for eating.

We purchased tickets online, self scanned them and watched a great flick. Not sure how to rate the "experience" since it had the same personal touch as a self service gas station. Seats were comfortable. Theater was clean. 3D movie was not as sharp as the same movie in 2D. Movie started (only) 11 minutes past the posted time. Probably because few previews are available. Prediction: DVD sales will make a huge comeback since you can buy two movies and keep them forever for the same price.

The staff was nice and the seats were comfortable. However, a man to my left played solitaire on his phone for the ENTIRE movie, except for when he took a nap and snored!!! It was distracting and frustrating. I didn't feel comfortable confronting him myself, a total stranger. I wish employees had been sufficiently present during some moment of the movie to notice and say something to him. I wonder if that is something staff could do in the future, or perhaps at least make known a policy on phone usage before a movie begins playing.

I have never experienced such a bad sound system in a theater. The audio quality was horrible and completely ruined the experience. It didn’t feel like watching a real movie at all—more like listening to a pirated recording with poor sound effects. Screen 14
