5/5 stars! Can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing drinks! I stumbled upon the Root of Happiness Kava Bar in Midtown and I'm so glad I did! Vanessa was an absolute gem - she took the time to beautifully explain the different kava drinks and the unique style and brand that Root of Happiness brings to the table. What really impressed me was the care and attention to detail that Vanessa and the team bring to each drink. They've crafted a truly unique experience that's unlike anywhere else. And the best part? I got to sample one of their signature drinks and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIP! The flavors were expertly balanced and the vibe was just right. If you're looking for a unique and welcoming spot to relax and unwind, look no further than the Root of Happiness Kava Bar. Can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing drinks!

Being new to Kava on my first trip the kava-tender was very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave a positive energy and lots of compliments! It was very welcoming. The drinks we really enjoy and had so much fun with their many games to choose from! definitely recommend for a group hangout easy to talk with out feeling awkward of being loud bc the music is high enough!

Ive been to a few different kava bars and this place by far serves the best Kava hands down. Would love to see a location open up in the east bay area one day.

Great place. Wife dragged me in. Not usually a fan of kava but this was refreshing for a change. Great energy snd staff as well

This place is so nice. Promoting relaxation one kava tea at a time. I will be coming back for anything that's available on their menu. On today's visit I purchased the Mango Vanilla Dream. 🙂‍↕️

I’ve gone to the Rancho and Davis location for years but this one really stands out to me. I often find myself looking at the spray painted art on their walls, the pink neon "order here" sign, brick walls and glass panels that illuminate the store day and night. I always wanted a location closer to me for convenience but it truly has so much more to offer. I definitely recommend this place for the drinks, live events and for hanging out in a small group. Staff is great, 10/10

I love the atmosphere. The music is upbeat but chill. It's cozy with a relaxed vibe. Pick a game to play with friends or just sit back end enjoy the atmosphere.
