Jackalope Lounge

Unfortunately the staff here were very rude when my group wanted to have some beers and play some pool. Do not come here if you have a passport card only and expect some pushback if you use it… in a group of 6 and the last to verify my age (26) we were all turned away for ‘sketchy IDs’ even though the rest of the group’s IDs were fine and a passport card is a REALID. I’m sure the food and drinks are fine but staff need improvement

one of the bartenders is extremely rude and impatient. i came here when i was newly 21 and didn’t know much about drinks yet which i guess is a crime in this bar if you even stutter ordering at all. the bartender was extremely annoyed that i didn’t know what to order right that exact second and he walked away from us and went to take someone else’s order, completely ignoring us. went next door to chakra lounge right after and LOVED it, and the bartenders there actually do their job and recommend stuff if you aren’t sure.

We had such a wonderful time during our Christmas bar crawl! It felt like a nostalgic journey at that cozy old-time bar. The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, crafting delightful drinks that really brightened our evening. The prices were very reasonable, which added to the experience. We can’t wait to return and relive those joyful moments when we’re back in Salt Lake City!

Good crowd good bartenders. The Max Fish (RIP) of SLC

This small bar is a hidden jewel. It is a bar. No food is served here, just cold delicious beer and other drinks like whiskey, tequila and the like. There is a quarter pool table. The bartender was awesome! Drinks are cold, served quickly and cheap! Nothing else needed!

Apparently you can’t buy anything without tipping. Bought one shot and the bartender was desperate for the tip

We were in town for one night, looking for fun place to watch Super Bowl. We’re not disappointed we stopped into the Jackalope. Thanks Rhett and crew!
