G6 Lounge & Restaurant

I mean it's just sad you can't really go anywhere local in your area casually anymore. Was disappointed because had I know that the lady was going to close the place before midnight like I confirmed with her before getting drinks because she said last call was at 11:15. At 11:35. We are getting kicked out of the bar after order a double shot of Hennessy. I didn't finish my drink but the fact that the girls that weren't even working at the bar said oh it's slow they are closing early after we paid and tipped to stay for the time they were said to close but kicked out 20 minutes prior was shady. Will not be coming back. And I'm just so disappointed in south San Jose. Any other recommendations?

This place is a very clean environment with amazing hospitality, the staff are so hard working and always acknowledge you, the drinks are strong and definitely worth the price. This place is a bougee environment it’s definitely a pleasure to be recognized by everyone. The food is on a whole other level packed with delicious flavors 100% the best Vietnamese food you will ever try. You can definitely notice that they put pride in their work. I recommend the G6 margarita is so unique and tasty! 😍

I’m gonna go with five stars. I’ve been to G6 a few times and each occasion has been good. Solid drinks and the occasional craft cocktail. Ken the bartender has been managing bar most times I’ve been there and he’s a pleasant soul. There’s a long stone top bar, indoor seating with foosball and music controlled by staff. Occasionally there’s live DJ. TV’s have played sports mostly and the place is usually lively with mostly locals. It’s got a vibe I like, personable, moderate music, good drinks. I haven’t tried the food yet or been on a late Friday / Saturday night but I wil definitely keep it in mind when the urge comes. Private parking lot clean restrooms. Do yourself a favor and grab a Stromboli next door when it’s time to leave.

I can't comment on food because I didn't have any. I was there only during bar hours. The staff is amicable and attentive, always asking how we were doing and advising us on the day specials (which were actual good recommendations and not predatory practices). Even though honest mistakes were made in the charges they were proactive and eager to correct them. Rather than a bad mark that was actually a big plus. I want to see this small business thrive in the community!

Great friendly people, happy hour, TVs and fooball table. Better bar than before

So, I was just here for the first time. When I arrived, I was greeted by both the servers and bartender, given peanuts, treated like I was appreciated. Just wanted to say thank you to both Q and Tina. You were both really genuine and friendly, I really enjoyed talking to you both, see you another time, as I'll definitely be back! Place was clean, mostly house music playing (even on a Monday) and the staff was respectful and kind. Thank you!
