My all time favorite queer bar here in Seattle. I love to make a stop here any time I’m in the gayborhood. Bartenders are all hot and friendly. The crowd is cool too and you’ll always be able to chat and meet new peeps and locals. Highly recommend this bar to any queer social person.

The Seattle Eagle is not here to comfort you but it does anyway somehow. It’s unapologetically itself. It’s dark, horny, historic, feral, and super trashy. It refuses to sand down its edges for anyone’s approval while still feeling cozy and accepting. The music is hit or miss depending on who’s DJing, which somehow feels right; not every night needs to soundtrack your epiphany. The back patio is where things slow down just enough to get chill, social, dangerous, the kind of place where you meet your new best friend or your latest regret, sometimes both in the same night. Upstairs is where the temperature changes. The DJ booth, the dance floor, the barber chair tucked away like a loaded sentence. Every corner feels like it’s holding onto secrets. The walls don’t talk, but if they could, they’d scream and moan. The Eagle doesn’t ask you who you are or why you’re here. It just lets you be, which in a city obsessed with appearances feels almost radical. I keep coming back because places like this don’t just serve drinks; they hold space for the parts of you that refuse to behave.

Love this bar. Not been in a long time due to that I moved but it still has so many fun memories of going there.

$22.00 for Basil Hayden sour? Really? The entire bottle at retail costs $35.00! I've never paid that for a sour with Basil Hayden!

This bar is rundown and filthy. It's in need of serious updates and a top-to-bottom cleaning. This bar is the answer to the question "What if Grandpa opened a gay bar?"

Never entered. I'm not paying a cover charge, in the afternoon, to have a drink or two in your establishment. There were 11 of us. Poor thinking on The Seattle Eagle's management.

06/07/25 I was so excited to visited this bar with a few friends to have a cocktail during the early evening. We were having such great time as the time went be so fast into the late evening. While laughing it up, we were approached by some fella with a Hattah on his head, approached us telling us, if we wanted to remain in the bar, we would have to pay a $ 10.00 fee, due to an event soon to transpire, other wise if we didn't pay now to stay in the Bar, we'd have to pay an additional $5.00 . We were taken by this because ,we had never heard of such a business, that made their customers have to make a decision to pay for an event that we were never aware of and to be told, if we didn't pay, we would have to leave.... Shocked by this because we had no clue nor did we see and posted signs indicating, otherwise we all would have taken ourselves (money) elsewhere. We all refused to pay and decided to take our pary(business) to another bar who would honor our presence and not have us to pay in the bar, simple because there was going to be an unexpected/ unannounced event, that none of use were INTERESTED in. What business makes customers have to pay to stay, simple because their were no indication or was informed that If we(you) wanted to stay, you must pay! Who does this? I we will never return! What a way to ruin a great moment with friends or even if you were solo.. Very poor and unprofessional! I hope Mgt will address this unexcceptable matter... If there was an option to check a star below the lowest, I would !
