The Drunken Parrot isn’t just a bar, it’s a place where people are actually looked after. Amanda runs this place with intention and she pays attention, she steps in when she needs to, and she makes sure everyone, especially women, are safe here. That matters more than people realize. The staff knows their regulars, knows the vibe, and keeps things respectful. The energy is laid-back and real — no nonsense, no weird tension. You can just be here. And the food? The pizza is legit and it comes out fast. They’re still serving real food close to closing when most places shut their kitchen down early or stop caring. This place has good people, good atmosphere, and a level of care you don’t find everywhere. I come back because I feel safe, welcomed, and seen here. Some places talk about being "good vibes" — this one actually is.

This is the place you want to step into if you are looking for the "Cheers effect". Everybody will know your name, if you are open enough for the conversation. The staff is amazing, the clientele is welcome and more than happy to have a great and quick conversation. "Smalls" AkA Little Killa, will make sure you feel like this is the place you have been missing out on for a while. This is the bar all local places need in order to be considered "small town living". This is a must stop in. Weather you are driving through or been around and never taken the time. The Drunken Parrot Saloon is a fun, welcoming spot with great prices . The employees are always friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Something you’ll probably agree with after a night here. A laid-back, good-vibes place worth stopping by for one or two! KUDOS to the staff. Remember everyone looks better under blue lights.

While I was down in Florida for school a friend told me about this place. It turned into one of my stops while down in Florida. The bartenders are amazing and make it feel like a hometown bar. I maybe from Minnesota but I never felt like an outsider. When I visit central Florida again I will make sure to stop by.

This place is home. I’ve been coming here since I was able to drink and they’ve changed owners a time or two, but I have never felt different. Now a friend owns the bar and once again it feels more like home. There’s a pink square dedicated to me in the bathroom. The beer is cold and the regulars are sharp. Howie has a joke on deck and Amanda is ready with a smart ass comment back to anyone’s sass in good fun. Anyone who walks is a regular. This is your home town bar and I refuse to go to any other.

Amanda bartender/ owner .... was honestly the biggest disappointment to the service industry..... definitely high on something beyond.... disrespectful, yells at customers, closes earlier than 2am .... picks and chooses who she want to serve almost fell actually..... disgusting. She definitely should not own a business before she learns proper service to anyone and whomever.... at least lay off the extra curricular activities.... never again will I go there...... the previous owners were amazing shame smh
