Macy's

I had an excellent experience at Macy’s in Stamford! Today-Friday, December 26, at around 12pm, I needed to return three pairs of shoes that were gifts for my daughters, and the manager in the customer returns department went above and beyond to help me. She was extremely kind, professional, and efficient, making what could have been a stressful process very easy and even enjoyable. I left the store feeling very happy and well taken care of. Thank you for outstanding customer service—I truly appreciate it!

Reliable department store in lower Fairfield County. We've had great success here over the years, especially with holiday gifts and clothes for events (i.e. weddings). Most recent visit had what we needed. Checkout staff was hard at work to attend to the already long, steadily growing line of shoppers. Personnel were also walking around the department/fitting area should customers have questions/concerns.

Don't waste your time. No one even answers a phone in the furniture department. No way to leave a message. Store furniture sales help was not in when we arrived. Why waste your time ? No wonder why see these mall stores going our office business !

The place were you can buy any of your need also all the clothing brands, cosmatics brands, furniture and more. This mall is very well decorated and well maintained. Almost all types foods are available in its food court. Stores of many good brands are available here. Not only food and clothing, there is.

I was at Macy’s fragrance department when a lady who claimed to be the manager discriminated against me. Her name is Angie, she claimed that the store where I work and macy’s were "rivals" and so I could not smell or spray anything. she even threatened to call security on me to make me leave. Just so you guys know I shop at Macys all the time and macy’s workers even come where I work all the time to smell and spray things and we treat them like customers because that is what they are outside of macy’s. But to say that we are rivals when I am a simple customer and to discriminate against me because I work at a certain place is just disgusting to me when I did nothing wrong but be a customer. I also overheard the manager spreading misinformation about me saying that I was stealing. What is there to steal? I was just trying to smell perfume and spray them on paper. As someone working in customer service, is this any type of way to treat a customer?

This is not the same Macy's I used to know. There was only one employee in the men's section, very poor selection of shoes. There was a better selection of clothes and it seemed the women's department was better stocked and better staffed.

Fun mall to walk around and do some shopping. Movie theater right next door and some high quality dining as well. Great for a rainy day.
