The Sugar Refinery

This place is awesome! With very good not so common drinks that are a must try you have to check this place out! The Sugar Refinery has great snacks and a really good stake night! They even have flights on the menu for you drinking pleasure haaa. Over all a great place to sit and catch up with friends. The bar tenders are very nice and super knowledgeable. They ask the wright questions to get into your brain and serve you just what you never knew you were looking for. I will be a long time guest of this place! The smoked old fashioned was very delicious.

I was there on Tuesday afternoon, such a great ambiance! We got there early, our table was set up and our waiter was ready to take drinks orders. Lots of cocktail options, the best was their old fashion with smoke!! The service was great and the food was good. Wish there’s more food options! But overall good experience

Can't believe I haven't visited this place until today! Great old timey decor with great, knowledgeable service! Sunday all-day brunch gave us access to a pitcher of blackberry-basil mojitos served in an awesome pineapple gourd with a ladle. The doughnut trio and salmon platter were absolutely delicious. The smoked old fashion was also well done with great presentation. A little pricey but worth it on a night out. A great place to come if you're feeling classy or just want a huge selection of cocktails!

This is a cute hidden gem in Sugarland! The food was good and the drinks were decent. I went on a Friday for happy hour. I didn't to much like the music, however they said after 10p they play R&B and Hip Hop. Their djs also play vinyl records.

Lovely dinner at The Sugar Refinery. I had a party or four and all are meals very very good. Staff was was friendly and pleasant. The couch area was fun. The location is set up more for a bar but the meal was good. We have the cobbler and bread pudding for desert. Awesome.

Had really high hopes for this place but unfortunately it did not live up to stands. Me and four of my friends visited this place around 11:30 PM on a Friday night. The inside was half full and had a cute little dancefloor which was semi-popping. There are a few tables scattered around the bar area. The tables all had reserved signs but no one was at the table so we found a place outside. There were menus on the tables and it looked like the waiter/waitresses were coming around. We made ourself comfortable (as comfortable as you can in Houston heat) while waiting for someone to serve us. We waited and then kept waiting. We finally flagged down a guy who said he was going to put the glasses down inside but then never came out so one of our group went inside and finally got someone to come outside. I ordered the Cuba Libre which was really good. It had a hint of ginger from the blackstrap rum. I would highly recommend it. My friends got the whiskey flight, old fashioned, Moscow mule which were all well done. Our bill came out and because there were 5 of us, they put an order 18% tip which sucked because their service was not worth 18%. Not a bad place (has potential) but especially for Houston summers, needs to have fans or some cooling mechanisms outside and a better way or serving people.

A great place to hang out for some food and drinks. We were here for lunch on a weekend, the place was a bit slow. Nevertheless, food and service was great! Would definitely go back for dinner here.
