Love love LOVE this place on 6th Ave. Chill vibe with good tunes, good drinks, and good people. The owner, Sam, was behind the bar just showing why Tacoma is such an amazing place to live. Had several drinks that were bartender's choice, and each was amazing. If you are looking for a fun spot for date night or just want to hang out with friends, Side Pony is the place to go
Not a lot of food options, but the other Mule off 56th has better options and nicer atmosphere. Can't beat the simple and flavorful, yet solid drink choices for a reasonable price at either location. Can't be over over stated don't spend more than an easy low key location can provide...
Their modified grilled cheese sandwiches are amazing. Great atmosphere and service. (And if you have a good nose, you can still smell the waffle cones from a previous tenant) Make sure to put their sister bar "the mule" on your list to visit as well. Easily just as good.
Tried some of the other places in the area and was disappointed, but Jessi and Jamie at the side pony were amazing! The drinks were super delicious and the vibe was insanely chill, got 4 drinks for $40
Stoked to see another great option added to 6th Ave. Great lighting, music & laid back vibes. I didn’t try any food, but everything looked and smelled great. Super friendly service with quality cocktails and an option for everyone.
First time here, environment was chill. Riley (bartender) was welcoming right away, mixed good drinks, and checked back often. Would come back another night.
Came here for my birthday and Sam made me feel like the star of the show! You can tell he’s very intentional with the menu and guest experience. Drinks are phenomenal, fun quirky bites to eat too. Definitely will be a regular here!!
