Food is amazing I love it. The service is the classic Seattle I don't care about you bartender but is ok. I had one mule and I paid 18 dollars I gave him a 20 so be ready for that. The decor is super cool but yeah 20 for one mule.

Googled dive bars near me and this was on the list! Went here and it was the perfect vibe for a Friday night! Mixed aged crowd, everyone was just having a good time.

Great place! Come in and enjoy some time with friends. Though the selection is small, the drinks are very well made with a great taste. The food selection is not quite what I expected. Hopefully they'll upgrade their selection or at least their ingredients for the food they already offer. Very clean and organized inside. You come in and don't look out of place or confused. Staff are friendly and approachable-not put off by having customers ask questions.

I’ve visited Mule tavern several times now. The late night happy house is great. I recommend the Tenacious D drink. Bartenders are nice and the grilled cheese and other vegetarian options are top notch. Def a local favorite.

I really love this place. Not exactly a place to get food, they have white castle burgers and cup of noodles. Not that I'm above eating those but just don't come for dinner. The real joy is the cocktails. Great knowledge and selection. Also the home made tonic and ginger beer is a great touch. The decor is amazing as well, like a nice dive, but dive isn't the right word. Dive-chic? anyway top choice if you're down on S. Tacoma Way.

Cool atmosphere and nice people, but I’ve seen toddlers with a toothache get a stiffer pour of whiskey than the mule gives you

The best drinks and events! Handcrafted ginger beer. I loved being able to order pork rinds with a choice of seasoning--his parents are awesomely with a ginger beer. Please offer carnivore choices for the nacho toppings--some of us think beyond beef taste like cat food. (We applaud the effort.) Hands down the best Queens and the best drag shows... However, that spotlight is quite blinding!! Great staff and great clientele. One of my favorite dive bars.
