The Palace Saloon

Lived in the apartments next to this place when I was in college back in 1998, but never came in. Fast forward to 2025. Great atmosphere, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Pool tables are $2 a game, but the beer is cold. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and a great place to watch a game.

I was a palace goer for many years, close with many of the old bartenders that have now moved up and on, and have left. Unfortunately, they took every good quality about palace with them. It’s a shame the newer staff has given this legendary bar, such a terrible reputation. I highly recommend not wasting your time, energy, or gas on getting yourself to palace.

I had a great time at palace and I told every bartender this was my first time here. I met Rodney. I met Xander and I met Tom. Tom promised me he would shout me out because it was my first time here. He said he would shout me out during last call. When last call came around, he told me he wouldn’t shout me out until close. I stayed until close and when close came around, he wouldn’t shout me out. This is just unfriendly and bad customer service. I’m still in the bar and I’m so mad because I got a lot of love here, just not from TOM

Logan is so stellar, he told me I was a stud and gave me some great service. He def looks like a man of finer things like would like always sunny and owned an English bulldog. Overall grade A service, def stud status.

The folks here are awesome! Someone forget their phone on the bar and a bouncer ran out and gave it to them! Chickfla type service. Absolute best bar in Tallahassee.

A Tallahassee classic dive bar. Been the same degree of awesome since I first stopped in 45 years ago.
