University of Beer - Vacaville

We were there for about 5 hours and we had a great time. My wife watched football, drank the first timer flight, and had the Thai Lettuce cups. I enjoyed the atmosphere and eating the food. I had the Cowboy Buger with garlic fries and fried pickles, Asian Style Fries, Drunken Pig Fries, BBQ Pork Mac, and some churros with chocolate dipping sauce; plus diet Pepsi and a non-alcoholic mango drink.

I’ve come here a few times since moving back to Vacaville last year, and I have to say, I’m NEVER disappointed. The food: 10/10 The service: AMAZING (especially their server Boss) The vibe: Immaculate

I stopped by University of Beer on my lunch break with a strict 30 minute time limit, and I cannot say enough good things about Taryn. From the moment I sat down, she was attentive, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. She immediately understood my time constraint and made sure everything moved seamlessly without ever making me feel rushed. My drinks and food arrived incredibly fast, were prepared perfectly, and tasted absolutely delicious. Taryn checked in at just the right moments, made sure everything was spot on, and kept the entire experience smooth and stress free. It is rare to find service that balances speed, quality, and warmth this well. Because of Taryn, what could have been a rushed lunch turned into an enjoyable and relaxing break, and I still made it back on time. She is a true asset to the team and clearly takes pride in her work. Management should know she is doing an outstanding job, and I will absolutely be back because of her. Highly recommend asking for Taryn if you are dining here.

My husband and I went here on a whim, expecting a typical brewery with average burgers and beer, but it was more like if a brewery and Gordon Ramsay had a baby. The service (Sean and Austin) was not only attentive and friendly but educational. The descriptions of the beer was totally on point—everything tasted exactly as described (and the descriptions sounded so tasty). I also don’t drink and really appreciated that they have multiple Non-alcoholic options that I hadn’t tried before. The menu is hefty with something for everyone, but the ticket time was surprisingly good. I got the crab sandwich and my hubs got the 101 burger. Everything was literally so good, and I don’t say that lightly. They also gave our dog a free healthy meal that included a perfectly cooked over medium egg that I couldn’t replicate myself—I repeat: THAT WAS THE DOG BOWL and it was FREE. This place is great for a family or date night. Just do it so we can make sure UoB stays in Vacaville for good!

Fun Atmosphere, Great Beer Selection, and Solid Food University of Beer in Vacaville is always a good time! It’s the perfect spot to hang out with friends, grab a drink after work, or watch a game. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed — upbeat music, lots of TVs, and a nice indoor-outdoor setup that works great when the weather’s nice. Their beer selection is huge, with tons of local and craft options on tap. The staff is always happy to give recommendations, and I love being able to try something new every time I go. The food is pretty solid too — classic pub-style bites with good portions and flavor. I especially like the wings and loaded fries. It can get busy on weekends, but the service stays friendly and the vibe never feels rushed. Overall, it’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy good beer, good food, and good company.

Very accommodating and attentive staff. We were greeted right away, and able to bring our pups on the patio. One of the perks is that dogs eat free. We had a variety of stage mention options when it came to food—all items were delicious. I got the BBQ Pork Mac—so good. I had to take some to go for lunch the next day. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for food and beverages.

Very friendly staff, limited but good food choices, BIG selection of beers and cocktails. My first time here, but won’t be my last!!
