Village

inside Village it feels like a dreamy alternate realm where everything in the world is good. the non-alcoholic drink options are so life changing that it feels like there is a before i’ve tried them and after that emerges from the first sip. the food is so delicious and inventive. i tried the whole current menu and you truly cannot go wrong. if you’re looking for a non-alcoholic drink, try the cascara pomegranate ginger drink. at first sip, there’s a sequence of different flavors the drink moves through like magic. i’ve been so sad ever since my favorite place (Standard Fare) closed and Village came in to save the day and has moved into the #1 food spot in my heart. the atmosphere and environment is so beautiful and thoughtfully curated. the tables are somehow the perfect height and the lighting is soft and vibey. they told me that the carpenter who built the bar and hi-fi vinyl shelves and dj booth is Elias Foerster. he stopped by while i was dining in and i’m going to hire him to build me sonic furnishings for my home recording studio. the owners & the crew are so friendly and sweet. thank you for bringing your vision to life! i will definitely be back for the all vinyl dj sets with rotating residencies. much love to all and congratulations on opening!

i might be biased but i think it’s pretty great

This new spot is amazing. It has hip vibes with a warm atmosphere and highly friendly owners. We have had several of their food offerings and they were all tasty. The grab and go refrigerator is great for needing to pick up a quick local beverage, I got the cider. Lastly, there is a safe and cute back space that is great for kiddos. Which is quite a rarity for those of us with kiddos in Vallejo. All in all I love the vibes, kid friendly space and can't wait to continue to support this new local gem.

Excellent place to get good wine, beer, non alcoholic drinks, coffee, etc. Great atmosphere, DJs playing great music. This place is amazing

Amazing new bar and hangout space. It is a self serve establishment and everyone is very friendly. There was a DJ mixing live. The food and drinks feature local vendors and offer a special touch. We had the queso Fundo and chips with chocolate chip cookie and they did not disappoint. The tea selection is also hand curated and worth the experience.

What a vibe! So happy to have a place like this in Vallejo. It felt like I was in a neighborhood spot in like SF/Berkeley/Oakland. The pop-up smash burgers were incredible. I'm excited to see this place grow with perhaps a larger beer and wine selection. Would love to see a sour on the menu at some point, and see what other pop-ups they partner with. Dog and kid-friendly as well 🙂

We stopped in this past weekend to check this new spot out and are so glad we did. Ever since Bartavelle closed in Berkeley, we've been searching for its spiritual successor; Village in Vallejo similarly brings together many of our favorite things, including delicious natural wine, tasty and affordable food, and the sounds + vibes of a hi-fi vinyl listening bar. Plenty of hearty plant-based / vegan food options as well, their coconut ice cream + Turon dessert is a must order. We can't wait to return!
